The National Hangeul Museum was established to preserve, spread, and develop the Korean alphabet, Hangeul. The museum showcases the history and value of Korean orthography, Korean’s most-valued cultural asset, through exhibitions, activities, and education. Occupying over 11,322 ㎡, the museum has one basement level and three ground levels, along with an outdoor grass field and rest area perfect for cultural events, exhibits, and education.

The museum is comprised of the Hangeul library on the first floor, a permanent exhibition hall, ㅎ Café, and cultural product shop on the second floor, and a planned exhibition hall and Hangeul playground for children and foreigners on the third floor.

Opened in 1927 on Uiju-ro Street next to Seoul Station, Noryangjin Fishery Market is one of Korea's largest seafood markets. It was moved to the newly constructed building in 1971 in Noryangjin with the Fisheries Cooperative Association taking over the market to promote the fishing industry as well as increase fishing income in 2002. In addition, they started modernizing projects that made Noryangjin Fishery Market a leading fishery market in Korea. The market handles about 50% of metropolitan volume and trades 250 to 300 tons of fishery products every day. The prices of fishery products are decided according to quantity so one is recommended to visit the official website to check the bid. General retail prices are 10 to 20% higher than the auction prices. The market is a mix of wholesale and retail stores and has a lively atmosphere, especially in the early morning from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m., when the live fish auction takes place.

The lobby and the outdoor garden exhibits installations created by contemporary artists. 63 Square is known for its golden glass facade, which puts up different ambiences depending on the season and the amount of sunlight. Aqua Planet 63 is an aquarium located on the first underground floor of Yeouido’s 63 Square. In a space about 3,500m2 in total area, the aquarium houses nearly 400 species of aquatic life, amounting to about 20,000 in total. Aqua Planet 63 is divided into a variety of spaces, from the Aqua Planet Garden to the Golden Miracle Zone, Penguin Planet, True Seal Planet, and the Coral Planet. One can even see the mermaid show. Note that a 50% discount is applied on the last Wednesday of every month. As for the 63 Square itself, the golden building by the Hangang River at Yeouido is the building.
