Doch gerade inmitten des geschäftigen Treibens der Stadt bildet er einen Ruhepol und bietet mit seinem Informationszentrum außerdem eine Anlaufstelle für jeden, der sich für Buddhismus interessiert. Entlang der Straßen um den Tempel herum gibt es viele Geschäfte, die Gegenstände für die Gebets- und Meditationspraxis verkaufen, wie hölzerne Schlaginstrumente, Gebetsperlen, buddhistische Schriften und Weihrauch, aber auch eine reiche Auswahl an Souvenirs bieten.
