Das Anwesen Ojukheon ist der Ort, wo Shin Saimdang lebte und ihr Sohn Yulgok Yi I, ein Gelehrter und Politiker der Joseon-Zeit, geboren wurde. Es wurde in der frühen Joseon-Zeit erbaut und ist somit eines der ältesten aus Holz erbauten Wohngebäude Koreas. Seit der Errichtung wird es von den Nachkommen der Gelehrtenfamilie instand gehalten.
Innerhalb des Gebäudekomplexes Ojukheon befinden sich die Gedenkhalle von Yulgok, Mongnyongsil, wo Yulgok geboren wurde, der Schrein Munseongsa sowie die Tore Jagyeongmun und Sajumun. Im Eojegak wird unter anderem das im Jahre 1577 verfasstes Buch "Gyeongmongnyogyeol" aufbewahrt.
