La galerie Hyundai est située au coeur de Daejon. Dans ce quartier se trouvent aussi la mairie, le tribunal, le poste de police etc.

L’espace d’exposition du niveau B1 de 231㎡ est le lieu d'exposition favori des grands artistes. En general, il s’agit d’expositions privées. Guibin Dolsotbap is one of the top restaurants in Daejeon and one of the very first to offer dolsotbap (rice in sizzling stone bowl) meals. Le complexe sportif de Hanbat accueille l’équipe de baseball professional des Hanhwa Eagles. Celui-ci est situé à Busa-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon, et a ouvert ses portes en janvier 1964. Le complexe sportif comporte un stade principal, un court de tennis, un terrain de Ssireum (lutte traditionnelle coréenne), une piscine et un terrain de roller. Le stade de baseball peut accueillir 13 042 spectateurs, et c’est l’un des terrains de baseball les plus favorables aux frappeurs, avec sa clôture de 1,5 m de haut. En avril 2000, le stade s’est agrandi de 5 m et on y a construit plus d’installations, comme une cafétéria, des toilettes et un terrain de jeux. Toutes les boutiques surplombant les champs intérieur et extérieur possèdent des parois vitrées, permettant aux spectateurs d’y regarder les matchs.
