Le parc du lac Gwanggyo est le plus grand parc du genre en Corée parmi les parcs en centre-ville. Le parc a été aménagé afin de mettre en valeur les paysages du mont Gwanggyosan et les réserves naturelles aux alentours.

Beef at Bonsuwon Galbi is sliced thin against the grain and marinated in a sauce made of several dozen ingredients for more than 24 hours. Even the perfect presentation of this tender beef hints of its extraordinary taste. Though the meat is definitely the main dish, another specialty of this restaurant is the doengjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) made of homemade soybean paste.

Le musée d’art contemporain Ieyoung est une collection personnelle d’oeuvres d’art qui possède des pièces de valeur centrées sur l’humanitarisme. Une fois que vous aurez pénétré dans cette exposition écologique, vous découvrirez des oeuvres de maîtres contemporains, depuis les sculptures jusqu’aux peintures orientales et occidentales. En plus des expositions, la galerie organise également des programmes d’activités artistiques pour les enfants.

La galerie abrite la plus grande collection d’oeuvres de Park Sang-Gwang, qui fut peintre patriotique. En 2004, pour commémorer le 100ème anniversaire de la naissance de Park, la galerie a créé une fondation dont le double but est d’étudier Park et son oeuvres, et d’identifier des artistes traditionnels inconnus en Corée. Depuis la création de la fondation, la taille et la quantité des collections de la galerie ont augmenté d’année en année.

Le jardin Wolhwawon à Suwon est inspiré des jardins traditionnels de la province de Guangdong en Chine. Il a été construit suite au traité conclu en 2003 par les administrations locales de la province coréenne de Gyeonggi-do et celle de Guangdong en Chine sur les échanges entre ces deux régions. Afin de renforcer leurs relations amicales, il a été décidé que chacun province créerait un jardin traditionnel qui représenterait l’autre. En conséquence, la construction de Wolhwawon a commencé en juin 2005 et il a ouvert ses portes au public le 17 avril 2006. Ainsi, le jardin Wolhwawon a été conçu à l'instar du jardin éponyme qui se situe à Guangdong. De son côté, un jardin coréen, Haedong Gyeonggiwon, a été aménagé au sein du parc Yuexiu dans la ville de Guangzhou. Ce jardin ressemble au jardin Soswewon qui se trouve à Danyang, dans la région coréenne de Jeollanam-do.

Ouvert en mai 2001, le stade de la Coupe du Monde de Suwon contient 43 000 places assises. Son toit représente un oiseau en vol et les siège, eux sont inspirés de la forteresse Hwaseong. Ce stade a accueilli plusieurs matches de football pendant la Coupe du Monde FIFA Corée / Japon de 2002 et il est depuis, ouvert au public.

Le Studio KBS de Suwon est un studio de film exceptionnel qui produit des drames HD TV numérique. Il est composé de plateaux intérieurs et extérieurs, un centre de production de théâtre, ainsi que de diverses installations.
Le studio est utilisé en semi-permanence et l’on peut y voir une série d’immeubles réalistes. Plusieurs tournages ont eut lieu dans cet espace comme des drames historiques tels que l'impératrice Myeongseong et Dongyang Geukjang. Le studio est également un site populaire pour la production de films, de publicités, et de clips musicaux.
KBS a ouvert ce parc à thème en étroite collaboration avec Suwon. Les visiteurs peuvent visiter le studio en participant aux circuits touristiques pour découvrir la ville de Suwon.
