Se trata de una plataforma de paseo urbana a lo largo del sendero costero que utilizaba antiguamente la línea ferroviaria Donghae Nambu. De todo el trayecto, el tramo entre Mipo y Songjeong tiene 4,8 km de largo y los visitantes pueden recorrerlo en ambas direcciones admirando el paisaje de la costa. El monte Hwangnyeongsan se encuentra en el corazón de la ciudad de Busan y atraviesa los distritos de Busanjin-gu, Nam-gu y Suyeong-gu. En la base del monte se pueden encontrar áreas de descanso municipales y un centro de deportes juvenil. Hay diferentes rutas dependiendo del tipo de transporte que se utilice.
