El Cementerio Conmemorativo de las Naciones Unidas y el Parque de la Paz fueron fundados en honor a los soldados de la ONU de 16 países que fallecieron en batalla durante la Guerra de Corea de 1950-1953. Este sereno parque se extiende en una planicie de césped de 135.000 m². Entre los lugares para visitar se pueden nombrar el Hall de ritos conmemorativos, el Hall Memorabilia, 2 monumentos turcos, monumento griego, monumento austríaco, monumento británico Commonwealth, y dos estanques. El Hall de ritos conmemorativos y el Hall Memorabilia fueron construidos en 1964 y 1968 respectivamente. Los ciudadanos de Busan construyeron y donaron el portón principal en 1966.
