La Estación de Yeosu Expo es la parada final de la línea de tren Jeolla, y fue inaugurada el 25 de diciembre de 1930. Durante la época de la ocupación japonesa,  se estableció también una estación llamada Estación del Puerto de Yeosu, pero su operación fue detenida tras la liberación de la ocupación japonesa en 1945. El 1° de octubre de 2011 se culminaron las obras de remodelación, de cara a la Expo de Yeosu, celebrada en 2012.
