Abierto en mayo de 2001, el Estadio de la Copa Mundial de Suwon cuenta con una capacidad de unos 43.000 espectadores. El diseño de su cubierta está inspirado en la imagen de un pájaro en su nido. Los asientos fueron diseñados a semejanza de la Fortaleza Hwaseong. Albergó partidos de la Copa del Mundo de Fútbol de Corea-Japón 2002, y el estadio está actualmente abierto a los visitantes.

Estación de Suwon (수원역)

La Estación de Suwon empezó a operar para trenes regulares el 1° de enero de 1905. Más adelante, el 31 de diciembre de 1975, se le añadió la estación de metro. La estación se encuentra en la línea 1 y en la línea Gyeongbu donde circulan los trenes Samaeul y Mugunghwa. El 1° de enero de 1966 cerraron la línea Suin y la Estación Gauge dejó de funcionar. El febrero de 2003, se estableció la estación de inversión privada. Desde el 1° de noviembre de 2010, un tren KTX de la línea Gyeongbu de Seúl a Daejeon hace parada en la Estación de Suwon.

Songihyang Hanjeongsik is a Korean restaurant offering tranquil views of Cheonggyesan Mountain and Baegun Lake. Nearby attractions such as Gwanggyo Mountain, Seoul Grand Park, and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art offer visitors a comprehensive experience of the area.

El monte Surisan fue designado como Parque Provincial de Gyeonggi-do, se encuentra rodeando la ciudad de Gunpo, y además, es de fácil acceso desde cualquiera de las áreas cercanas a Seúl. Presenta un paisaje natural muy bello, formado por árboles de entre 100 a 300 años de edad. Por la cantidad de flores, mariposas, etc., entre otro tipo de especies de la flora y fauna que hoy en día están en peligro de extinción, es un espacio natural y ecológico de gran importancia. Entre los paisajes naturales de alto valor están: la cresta Bakjwineungseon (picos Taeeulbong y Seulgibong), el templo Surisa y la cuesta Baramgogae del barrio Sokdal-dong.
