Chuncheon Makguksu Museum was built with the theme of buckwheat noodles (makguksu), Chuncheon’s local dish. The museum's unique exterior design was inspired by the image of making buckwheat noodles. This two-story building has an exhibition hall introducing buckwheat noodles (makguksu) and buckwheat (maemil) on the first floor and an experience center where visitors can make and try their own makguksu on the second floor. In particular, the first floor displays a dimensional exhibition on the origin and tradition of makguksu, and the origin and efficacy of maemil. It is recommended to visit the exhibition before the makguksu making experience activity. The makguksu making experience is available starting from groups of two people. With the help of an instructor, participants will experience the entire production process of makguksu from kneading dough to making noodles by pressing the noodle frame. After finishing making noodles, participants will mix noodles with vegetables and a spicy sauce. Soy sauce seasoning is also available.

Located in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, this picturesque valley takes its source from the 900-meter high Kalbongsan Mountain, winding around Ongnyeobong Peak. Stretching over 24 km, it is home to nine remarkable sights, earning it the nicknames "Nine Okgye Valleys" and "Nine Yongchu Valleys." Blanketed by pine nut forests, the valley’s clear waters flow past rocky walls and ridges, forming natural pools along its course. A notable highlight is the 5-meter tall Yongchupokpo Falls about 6 kilometers upstream, accompanied by a legend of a dragon’s ascent to heaven; a deep groove in the adjacent sloping rock is believed to be the dragon’s resting spot. Flanked by Yumyeongsan, Jungmisan, and Eobisan Mountains, the valley offers an excellent short hiking route for a half-day excursion.

The Art Center was established by remodeling the previous Chuncheon Children’s Center, while the Stay building was built by remodeling the previous Gangwon-do Sports Center. When viewed from the sky, the Art Center, which was built with Kim’s unique construction technique, resembles a butterfly sitting on the lakeside. Opened as the Children’s Center in 1980, the building was abandoned for a while and then was re-born as KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon in 2014. Sangsangmadang, as part of the social contribution and restoration program of KT&G, aims to support various cultural and arts activities and offer the public an opportunity to appreciate arts and culture.
