Manisan Mountain is located on the southern end of Ganghwado Island, at the mid-point of the Korean Peninsula between Hallsan Mountain and Baekdusan Mountain. At the top of Manisan Mountain is Chamseongdan Altar, known to have been used by Dangun to hold sacred rituals. The 1988 Paralympics torch was lit at the top of the mountain as well as the torch for the Korea national sports games each year. If you walk up the trail with 918 stone steps, an amazing view of the west sea and Jeongsusa Temple to the east can be seen. The pine tree forest full of phytoncide is perfect for hikers to relieve their stress.

Hamheodongcheon Campground is a camping site nestled in the Hamheodongcheon valley on the northern slope of Manisan Mountain in Ganghwa-do, inaugurated in 1987. Enveloped by lush forests, it provides a picturesque setting and is especially favored as a summer retreat destination. The first campground accommodates electricity usage and operates through an internet reservation system, whereas the second to fourth campgrounds operate on a first-come, first-served basis without prior reservations.

Maeheon 1935 is a restaurant in Gangwha-gun, Incheon that serves Korean dishes. The restaurant uses a renovated hanok built in 1935, and has a garden that blooms with plum blossoms. It is also located to many representative attractions of Ganghwa. The restaurant is characterized by serving a neat Korean food table for each person. Its representative menu items consist of bibimbap, hanu yukjeon (beef pancake), beef bulgogi, and more, made with fresh local ingredients that are produced in Ganghwa.

Gimpo Sculpture Park is situated in a large forest and is decorated with 30 sculptures: 14 by international artists and 16 by Korean artists. Since the site is located near the DMZ, the only divided country in the world, each sculpture expresses the overarching theme of unification. A favorite spot for weekend picnicking families and couples on dates, the park is expected to be included in a large tourist complex in the near future along with nearby Reports Park and the youth training center.
