Gwangcheon Cave Salted Shrimp Market is a traditional market located in Gwangcheon, between Hongseong and Boryeong. Gwangcheon’s proximity to the Yellow Sea makes it a famous place for jeotgal (salted seafood), made using seafood and shrimp caught from the Yellow Sea, and laver seaweed. Gwangcheon’s saeujeot (salted shrimp) is stored and aged in a cave tunnel, so it has great quality. The market also offers agricultural goods, seafood, clothing, and sundry items.

Baeksajang Beach is located near Baeksajangpogu Port which is just 4 kilometers southwest of Anmyeon-do Yeonyukgyo Bridge, the bridge connecting the mainland to the island. The beach has a long stretch of shimmering white sand and the ebbing tide creates a different view of the horizon. Though the water level has a large tidal range, the beach's moderate water temperature makes it suitable to swim even in late summer. The beach is 1.2 kilometers long and 300 meters wide, and is made up of fine silica sand.
Baeksajang Beach and the nearby Sambong Beach is one of the major sources of jumbo shrimp. During autumn, crowds come to enjoy the taste of fresh jumbo shrimp. The beach even holds a prawn festival every fall when jumbo shrimp production peaks.
Kkotgedari Ocean Bridge (꽃게다리)

Inspired by the blue crab, the Kkotgedari Ocean Bridge links Taean's Deureuni Port with Anmyeondo Island's Baeksajang Port. At night, the bridge is lit up with stunning lights. Nearby, a market offers the opportunity to browse, buy, and taste seafood freshly caught from the Yellow Sea.

Seongnyeonsa Temple is located on the side of Baegwolsan Mountain, and is a branch temple of Sudeoksa Temple. The path to the temple is paved, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. A bit further up the mountain from Daeungjeon Hall, visitors will be greeted by a large stone-carved Buddha that was made recently. The lack of moss and weathering makes it stand out from other rock-carved Buddha statues, while showing the unwavering faith of the local Buddhists.

Seosan Chrysanthemum Festival takes place in October at the area of Gobuk-myeon, Gagu-ri in Seosan, Chungcheongnam-do. Yeongmokhang Harbor is located at the base of a small hill 4 kilometers away from Gonam-myeon, on the southern tip of Anmyeondo Island. The name was originally just Yeonghang Harbor but the name was changed to reflect its important role in connecting the areas of Boryeong and Taean. Across from the harbor are Wonsando, Hyojado, Chuseom, and Bbaeseom islands and ‘Three Brethren Rock.’ On the left are boats for Cheonsuman Bay. Fishing is the main industry in the region, which means that visitors can find plenty of fresh, quality seafood such as manila clams, conches, bass, and other types of seafood at low prices.
