This museum is located on the site of Daebul Hotel, Korea's first Western-style hotel, established in 1889. The hotel was demolished in 1978, but parts of the hotel structure were discovered in 2011 and rebuilt to preserve the hotel's original appearance. The first floor is the Daebul Hotel Exhibition Hall, through which visitors can see traces of Daebul Hotel at the time. The second floor is the Jung-gu Life History Museum, where visitors can get a glimpse of life in Incheon's Jung-gu area in the 1960s and 1970s.

Jjajangmyeon Museum is built in the former building of Gonghwachun, the official birthplace of jjajangmyeon, a food people of all ages love. Gonghwachun operated in this old-fashioned brick building until 1983, and the building was renovated as Jjajangmyeon Museum. It is the first jjajangmyeon-themed museum in Korea and consists of six permanent exhibition rooms and one special exhibition room. Visitors can see the birth and transformation of jjajangmyeon at a glance and the different types and recipes of jjajangmyeon. The special exhibition room presents exhibitions on a variety of topics every year. The reproduction of Gonghwachun’s original reception room and kitchen as well as the exhibition of how the metal delivery box changed over the years are also interesting.

The May 18 Democratization Movement was a righteous uprising by citizens that took place in Gwangju for ten days from May 18 to 27 in 1980. The May 18 Democratic Uprising Archives was established in 2015 at the former Gwangju Catholic Center, a historical site of May 1980, to systematically collect and preserve the May 18 Democratization Movement's heritage that led to the democracy in Korea today. Through the efforts of Gwangju citizens, visitors can see the original records of the May 18 Democratization Movement, inscribed on the UNESCO Memory of the World in 2011. Visitors can also view the records with a guide or through online exhibitions. The May 18 Democratic Uprising Archives is a place that preserves the history of all Korean citizens.

ARTE Museum Valley Gangneung, located by Gyeongpo Lake, is the third immersive media art exhibition presented by d’strict, a digital media design company. There are twelve media art exhibitions centered on the theme “Valley” to reflect the regional characteristics of Gangwon-do and Gangneung, the center of the Baekdu Mountain Range. The works produced under the theme of “Eternal Nature” have vibrant visuals, sensual sounds, and elegant fragrance adding to the entire experience.

Hanyangdoseong, the Seoul City Wall, built in 1396, was the city fortress wall that protected the capital city Seoul for over 600 years. The fortress wall was built along the terrains and although it became partially damaged during the modernization process, its original form remains well to this day, making it a cultural heritage that coexists with the modern city. The Seoul City Wall Museum, located in Heungjinjimun Park, is a museum containing the history and culture of city wall from the Joseon dynasty to the present. It is a cultural space with a permanent exhibition hall, special exhibition hall, city wall information center, and study room.

The archaeological sites in Amsa-dong, Seoul, were a collective settlement where people lived during the Neolithic Age about 6,000 years ago and became known to the world after the sand dunes along the Hangang River caved in during the great flood of 1925, exposing numerous pieces of comb-patterned pottery. The area designated as a historic site in 1979, and excavation of the site took place from 1981 to 1988. The cultural heritage protection area was expanded to a total area of 78,133㎡. Currently, nine Neolithic dugout huts and one experiential dugout hut have been restored. The exhibitions currently open to the public are Exhibition Hall 1, which displays a restoration of a Neolithic Age dugout, and Exhibition Hall 2, which displays various panels and models to help understand the prehistoric era as a whole.

Mokpo Modern History Museum is the oldest building in Mokpo and a witness to Korea’s modern and contemporary history. It was built in 1900 and was used to house various public organizations, like city halls, consulates, and cultural centers, before being turned into the Mokpo Modern History Museum in 2014. As a building that has survived through rapid changes, it is valued for its historical and architectural significance. The museum has an exhibition on Mokpo’s history, organized into seven themes, detailing the history of the production and exploitation of various goods during the Japanese colonial period (1910-1945), along with miniature recreations of the streets of Mokpo city at that time.
