Ce pont a été construit à Gyo-dong dans la ville de Gyeongju-si (région Gyeongsangbuk-do) pendant la période du royaume unifié de Silla. Il a été endommagé sous la dynastie Joseon avant d'être restauré en avril 2018 en tant que plus grand pont en bois de Corée.

Selon le livre Samguksagi, il fut bâti durant la 19e année du règne du roi Gyeongdeokwang (760) du royaume unifié de Silla afin de relier Wolseong et Namsan à Gyeongju.

Named after Silla King Muyeol's daughter, Princess Yoseok, Yosokkoong serves traditional Korean food. The resturant is run by the Choi family, who settled on the site of Princess Yoseok's house during the Joseon dynasty, and has passed on the restaurant and family recipes through 12 generations. All the foods served are made with organic ingredients, for a healthy taste that cannot be found anywhere else.

This hanok (traditional Korean house) is located at the center of Hanok Conservation Area, known as Hwangnidan-gil Street. To the north lies the old alley that connects to Cheomseongdae Observatory. The house has sarangchae building, byeolchae building, and main building, which is used as a gallery and café, surrounding the grass lawn in the center. All rooms are equipped with ondol (under-the-heating system) and a red clay finish, and each room has a bathroom with shower facilities.
Sarangchae is a two-story hanok building with a hipped-and-gable roof. Its first floor is occupied by a double room and a family room, which can support up to 4 people. Byeolchae is a single-floor hanok with a gable roof, containing two double rooms and a raised floor space. The main building’s gallery contains a hanok experience room, cafe, restaurant, and a traditional tea room. A Korean-style breakfast is offered in the cafe, and the management also offers experience programs like tea ceremony, traditional games like yunnori (board game), and traditional musical instruments like janggo (hourglass-shaped drums) and gayageum (twelve-stringed zither).

As a traditional Korean guesthouse with modern facilities but with some traditional features of a Korean house such as wooden floor and ceramic tiled roof intact, Soseoljae is located next to Cheomseongdae in Gyeongju. It also has an old well in the garden. Each guestroom is furnished with bathroom and air conditioner for the convenience of the guests. The single-story guesthouse has a total of 11 rooms that can accommodate 2-4 people depending on the size of the room. The two-story stand-alone guesthouse located right next to the main gate can accommodate six, and it has a small tea room. The guesthouse has a cafe at the entrance. La forêt de Gyerim se trouve entre l’observatoire de Cheomseongdae et la forteresse de Wolseong. C’est une épaisse forêt de zelkovas et de saules enracinés sur des petites collines, de part et d’autre d’un petit ruisseau qui coule au Nord Ouest des bois. Selon les légendes, la forêt a un lien très fort avec les mythes qui entourent la naissance de Alji, le fondateur du clan Kim de Gyeongju. C’est pourquoi elle a été désignée Site historique national n° 19.

La légende veut que le roi Talhae entendit un coq crier des profondeurs de la forêt de Sirim. Le chancelier Hogong but envoyé pour enquêter. Arrivé sur place, il trouva un coq criant sous un arbre où pendait une boîte dorée. Hogong retourna faire son rapport au roi, qui lui ordonna de rapporter la boîte doré au palais. Le roi ouvrit la boîte et trouva à l’intérieur un petit enfant, Kim Alji. La forêt, baptisée à l’origine « Sirim » ou « Gurim », devint connue sous le nom de « Gyerim » (« gye » signifie coq). Le nom de Gyerim désignait également le royaume de Silla.

Alji devint le fils adoptif du roi, mais comme la couronne fut transmise au roi Pasa de la famille Park, il n’accéda jamais au trône. Quelques années plus tard, le clan Kim devint la famille régnante avec le couronnement du roi Naemul.

La pierre commémorative marquant la naissance de Kim Alji fut érigée durant la troisième année du règne du roi Sunjo de la dynastie Joseon. Située non loin de la forteresse royale de Silla, la forêt est toujours vénérée avec dévotion comme étant le lieu de naissance mystique du premier ancêtre du clan royal Kim de Silla. Des fleurs de colza jaunes fleurissent le long du chemin reliant Daereungwon avec Gyerim et Banwolseong, rendant l’atmosphère de la forêt encore plus magique

Located in Gyeongju City, Hwangnamgwan is a traditional Korean style accommodation which opened in April 2014. The place looks like a small hanok village with 4 one-story buildings and 2 two-story buildings, constructed on about 5000㎡ of building site. The buildings are equipped with modern convenience facilities but manage to preserve the antique flavor of traditional Korean house. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom. A bathtub is installed in the largest room, Numaru Suite. Auxiliary facilities include the seminar room which is located in the two-story building. There are a cafe and a pizza restaurant on the first floor for meetings or simple meals. Guests are given discount coupons for the cafe. Various traditional plays can be enjoyed in the hanok. It is possible to take photos with the beautiful Hwangnamgwan building in the background wearing traditional Korean clothes. You can also play Neolttwigi, Tuho, and Jegichagi in the wide yard and experience twisting legs, bastinado, turning the millstone, fulling, Pogurak (dancing play), etc. which have appeared on TV dramas. It is possible to receive discounted services at nearby affiliated facilities: 50% discount at Spalux Jjimjilbang, Kids Cafe, and Sport Town Bowling Center. Famous tourist attractions such as Cheonmachong Tomb, Cheomseongdae Observatory, and Banwolseong Fortress are within walking distance; and the National Gyeongju Museum and Gyeongju World Culture Expo Park are likewise not far from Hwangnamgwan.

L’Observatoire Cheomseongdae est le plus ancien observatoire astral existant, en Asie. Construit durant le règne de la Reine Seondeok (632-647), il était employé pour observer les étoiles afin de connaître les prévisions météorologiques. Cette pierre architecturale est une belle combinaison de lignes droites et de courbes, désignée comme Trésor National Nº 31, le 20 décembre 1962. L’Observatoire Cheomseongdae a été construit sous la forme d’un cylindre, avec des pierres, grosses de 30cm.

362 pierres ont été empiléees les unes sur les autres pour en faire 27 couches. A 4,16m du fond, il y a une entrée carrée de 1㎡ de superficie et on peut encore y voir l’espace où une échelle y était suspendue. L’intérieur est rempli de terre jusqu’à la douzième couche, et les couches 19, 20, 25 et 26 ont toutes de longues roches qui sont pendues sur deux côtés, sous la forme du caractère chinois suivant: '井' (jeong). Les bouts de ces roches se voient du dehors. Il fait 9,17m de haut et la pierre de base de chaque côté mesure 5,35m. L’Equinoxe Vernal, l’Equinoxe Automnal, le Solstice d’hiver et le Solstice d’été ainsi que les 24 termes solaires étaient déterminés en observant les étoiles. On pense que ce pavillon en pierres a été utilisé comme standard pour décider les directions, le nord, le sud, l’est et l’ouest. 362 pierres ont été employées pour construire cet Observatoire Cheomseongdae. Ce nombre de pierres représente exactement le nombre de jours dans une année du calendrier lunaire.

Huewon (休垣) Huewon is a cozy hanok guesthouse located in Seoak-dong, Gyeongju. Since Gyeongju had been the capital of the Silla Dynasty for about a thousand years, Huewon is surrounded by various cultural heritage sites such as Tomb of King Muyeol, Tomb of King Jinji, and Seoakseowon Confucian Academy with a serene atmosphere.
Built in the 1970s and renovated later, Huewon started its accommodations service around 2011. Entering the gate, one can see a square-shaped courtyard giving a very bright and warm impression, in the middle of which is an old beautiful magnolia tree that is popular among visitors.
The garden is well-arranged with flower trees and bonsai trees and decorated with vintage items such as an old well and a water pump. Behind the house, the surroundings along with the low-altitude Seondosan Mountain make for beautiful seasonal scenery.
This cozy and pleasant hanok house has been well-maintained with the will and care of the owner, preserving the traditional hanok features including columns, beams, and rafters of the ceiling that show traces of time past.
The guestrooms are bright and clean with a delicate fragrance.  Aside from red clay walls and clean beddings, however, there are no other additional facilities such as BBQ set because the guesthouse seeks to offer guests a quiet, healthy, and stable environment.
The guesthouse’s host, who has lived in Gyeongju for about 30 years and has engaged in promoting Gyeongju’s cultural heritages, willingly recommends to guests special travel destinations in Gyeongju and tells stories about Gyeongju.
In particular, the way to Dobongseodang Village School located behind Huewon is highly recommended by the host. Going up to the village school early morning, one is treated to a fantastic open view of Gyeongju in the fog. Moreover, Namsan Mountain, nicknamed Outdoor Museum since it is full of various Buddhist statues and towers here and there, is another recommended destination near the guesthouse.

This hanok (traditional Korean house) is located very near to Cheomseongdae Observatory. Its location in front of the Gyeongju Historic Areas allows guests to reach major sights in Gyeongju like Daereungwon Ancient Tomb Complex, Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, and Hwangnidan-gil Street by foot. This hanok symbolizes the historicity of the city of Gyeongju in that during its construction a female skeleton and accessories made out of precious metals were excavated from the site. The accommodation’s name comes from the idiom “Muwijayeon (leaving nature as it is),” combining bamboo and pine trees with green grass, show its dedication to ideals of rest and philosophy.
There are five rooms in total, all ondol (under-the-floor heating system) rooms for two. Korean paper lining the walls and old-fashioned furniture speak to the ideal beauty of hanok. The raised floor space, which is attached to the “Munmu” room, is a great place to enjoy the scenery and take pictures. All rooms have modern bathrooms with shower facilities, and a complimentary breakfast is served in the cafe on site from 8:00 to 9:00 in the morning. The complex has abundant parking spaces for the guests.
