Le site doit son origine au projet de reconstruction et de regénération urbaine par des artisans locaux qui ont entrepris de conserver et reconstruire les quelques anciennes maisons sur site. On compte neuf espaces au total au rez-de-chaussée d'AREA6, proposant diverses marques F&B mais aussi diverses boutiques de décoration en passant par un bureau des renseignements touristiques. Au 1er étage, on trouve un espace de coworking et un salon alors que le 2e étage est composé d’une terrasse accessible au public et d’une salle de séminaire. Ce bâtiment est réputé pour avoir garder l'apparence de l'ancienne maison traditionnelle tout en ayant une haute valeur culturelle pour la région.
