Le Musée des anciens chemins raconte l'histoire des routes d’échanges qui étaient utilisées dans le passé. Le passage Mungyeong Saejae était une plaque tournante du transport pour le peuple de Corée, notamment durant la période Joseon. Mungyeong Saejae abrite Haneumjae (une des plus anciennes routes de Corée, construite en 176 après JC), Tokkibiri (une route de commerce célèbre), et la station Yugok Station (une plaque tournante du transport dans la région Yeongnam). Même si l'importance de ces routes a diminué au fil du temps, elles continuent toujours d’attirer l'intérêt des visiteurs et de contribuer à l’héritage culturel de la nation. Le Musée des anciens chemins a été ouvert en 2009 sur les bases du Musée “Mungyeongsaejae”.
