Boston Motel is located in Gwangyang, the southernmost region of the Korean Peninsula where spring comes first. Suncheonman Minsok(Folk) Hanok Pension is located on a high plain overlooking Suncheonman Bay Ecological Park. It has been in business since 2012. Because it’s an old house that has been passed down through four generations and it may be uncomfortable for the guests to stay in, the house was renovated with five more guestrooms added in August 2013. The guesthouse was named by the owner's son, because the house has all the features of a traditional Korean house and commands a great view of Suncheonman Bay. The guestrooms are furnished with a modern bathroom, kitchen, TV, and air conditioner, but the floor is made of a thick layer of red clay using the traditional Korean floor heating system, which traps the warmth in the clay for a long time after being heated. The structure is built with Korean pine wood, which is good for your health and smells good too. Located in the highest part of the village, the place commands a panoramic view of all the rice paddies and reed fields. In early winter, you can also see the migratory birds that are listed as a natural monument and black cranes feeding on the rice paddies. The Suncheonman Bay Ecological Park is only a 10-minute walk from the pension, so you can take a short walk to the park and enjoy the sunset on the Yongsan Observatory there. The natural landscape around the pension is a sight to behold in itself during the daytime, and the night view of the new town is also beautiful during the nighttime. There is a wooden deck in front of the pension where you can enjoy barbecue while taking in the night view. One of the best things about staying at this pension is that you can pick vegetables from the kitchen garden cultivated by the owner and his wife. One of the reasons why this pension became popular is the food prepared by the owner's wife. Her food was introduced in the popular Korean TV show “Korean Cuisine and Dining” on the KBS channel, which introduced the family food of Jeollanam-do. All the dishes are made of all natural ingredients without any artificial flavors. The food is so good that some guests actually come here just for the food, without staying overnight. They say the dishes are nothing fancy, as all you will get is soup, grilled fish, and seasoned cockles, but they are some of the best you can find in the country. Her rolled omelete made of fertile eggs from the chickens grown by the owner is particularly popular among the regulars. The price for the food is very affordable as well.

Récemment ouverte au public, la vallée Eochi (어치 계곡) est la vallée la plus profonde et la plus pittoresque des quatres vallée de la montagne Baegunsan. Observatoire de Yongsan de la baie de Suncheon - canal en forme de S (순천만 용산전망대 - S자 물길)

On peut observer le canal en forme de S de la baie de Suncheon à partir de l'observatoire Yongsan. En partant du Daedaepogu et en suivant le chemin Galdaemokdo après avoir traversé le pont Mujingyo, on peut voir le chemin qui mène au mont Yongsan. La chaîne de montagne a la forme d'un dragon qui est couché et il y a plusieurs crêtes de montagne. A l'observatoire de Yongsan, on peut voir les plaines, les montanges, les bancs de sable mouillé et les marais plein de roseaux. Pendant la marée haute, on peut voir des oiseaux aquatiques qui attendent que l'eau redescende.

Haut de 1 218 m, le mont Baegunsan est réputé pour être l’habitat de trois esprits divins : le phoenix, le renard et le sanglier. Le mont Baegunsan se trouve à l’extrêmité côté Honam-jeongmaek de la chaîne montagneuse de Baekdudaegan, qui traverse une bonne partie de la péninsule coréenne, depuis le mont Baekdusan au Nord jusqu’au mont Jirisan au Sud. Le mont Baegunsan borde Jirisan au Sud et la rivière Seomjin au Nord, et possède quatre vallées : Seongbuk, Donggok, Eochi et Geumcheon, qui abritent des sources claires et des forêts luxuriantes.
Depuis le sommet, les randonneurs peuvent embrasser du regard à la fois le mont Jirisan et la mer du Sud. Les flancs de la montagne sont recouverts d’une épaisse forêt où poussent quelques 900 espèces de plantes rares. C’est là que la biodiversité est la plus importante après le mont Hallasan.

La zone des marais de la baie de Suncheon comprend la plus grande densité de roseaux en Corée. L'image des roseaux se balançant dans le vent est aussi éblouissante que les vagues sur la mer.
Les champs de roseaux abritent de nombreuses plantes qui prospèrent dans des conditions humides, comme le roseau commun et le starwort. Parmi l'ensemble des zones humides du monde, la baie de Suncheon est connue pour attirer le plus grand nombre d'oiseaux rares. Ces oiseaux rares comme la grue à capuchon, la grue blanche molletonnée, la cigogne blanche, la spatule à face noire, et l'huîtrier eurasien, ainsi que d'autres oiseaux désignés comme trésors naturels, peuvent être visibles dans la baie. Il y a environ 140 espèces d'oiseaux dont la bécassine des marais, le canard sauvage, le tadorne de Belon et l'oie sauvage.
