La galerie Hyundai est située au coeur de Daejon. Dans ce quartier se trouvent aussi la mairie, le tribunal, le poste de police etc.

L’espace d’exposition du niveau B1 de 231㎡ est le lieu d'exposition favori des grands artistes. En general, il s’agit d’expositions privées. La tendance est plutôt art moderne et la galerie expose l'oeuvre d'artistes dits "progressifs". L’éclairage est très impressionnant et la mise en valeur des objets splendide.

Une galerie d’art ancien se trouve près de la galerie de Hyundai. Par ailleurs le 3ème plus grand lac de Corée, le lac de Daecheongho se situe à Daejon. Si vous désirez profiter de la tranquillité d’un beau lac, c’est l'endroit rêvé. L’eau y est très claire et propre et abrite de nombreuses espèces de poissons différentes.

Guibin Dolsotbap is one of the top restaurants in Daejeon and one of the very first to offer dolsotbap (rice in sizzling stone bowl) meals. The restaurant was first opened in Daeheung-dong and later moved to the current location. Tables are set with 17 types of different side dishes. Seongsimdang a été fondée en 1956 en tant que boulangerie-patisserie en face de la gare de Daejeon.
