Le musée Sungkok est une galerie d’art construite par la corporation coréenne Ssangyong, dans le but de promouvoir l’art coréen. Pour les écrivains talentueux, une exposition individuelle peut avoir lieu.

Pour le développement de l’art en Corée, il y a le calendrier des expositions. Enfin, il y a aussi une exposition internationale, dans le but de maintenir un lien avec le courant des arts provenant de l’étranger. Or ces dernières représentent plus de 15 expositions par an.

On peut approximativement diviser la galerie en 2 parties: la partie principale où se tiennent les expositions et l’annexe où se trouvent diverses facilités.

Dans le parc des sculptures, une centaine d’arbres d’espèces varies, de plusieurs décennies forment une forêt. Cet assemblage, arbres et sculptures, trouve aussi son sens artistique. Dans ce bois, il y a un chemin que vous pourrez suivre afin de découvrir cet espace de 7,450 m2. Sculptures de grands artistes coréens et étrangers ne font qu’harmonie avec la nature.

Dans le cas où vous souhaiteriez acheter un objet artisanal à un prix raisonnable, il y a une boutique d’objets d’art au sein du bâtiment principal. Certains produits viennent du musée et d’autres viennent d’artistes reputes; lieu où vous pourrez trouver nombre de petites choses qui font plaisir.

Après le musée, vous pouvez vous reposer dans la maison de thé. Cette dernière peut vous offrir une délicieuse tasse de thé que vous apprécierez encore plus devant la beauté de chaque saison qui teinte le parc des sculptures. Au printemps, la fraîcheur des senteurs de la nature, l’été, la forêt vivifiée, l’automne, le changement des couleurs et l’hiver, la blancheur de la neige. Des tables en terrace vous attendent.

This hanok (traditional Korean house) is located in Seochon Village near Gyeongbokgung Palace. It is a modern C-shaped hanok centered around the inner courtyard, which is the first thing that the guests see after entering through the gate. While it is not expansive, white pebbles and a foot bath make this hanok a unique one. One can enjoy a foot bath while sitting on the porch.
The bedroom, which is located beyond the living room, is furnished with a queen-sized bed. Opening the screen doors brings one to the view of the kitchen area beyond the inner courtyard. A large table, plush sofa, and a small bookcase make the space ideal for books and discussions. Climbing the wooden ladder to the side of the kitchen brings one to the attic, which also doubles as a Korean-style room with a skylight. Le mont Inwangsan abrite toujours les terrains rituels du roi Taejo et Muhakdaesa, ainsi que les remparts construits dans la périphérie de Séoul, qui s’étendent du tunnel de Sajik jusqu’à la porte de Jahamun. De nombreuses personnes aiment faire de la randonnée sur le sentier qui démarre du tunnel de Sajik et conduit au sommet de la montagne, puis longe les remparts pour aboutir à Buamdong. Le parcours de randonnée est également relié à la route qui se trouve devant Cheongwadae, ce qui permet aux randonneurs de visiter des monuments historiques comme les routes de Palpan et de Hyoja, ainsi que le palais de Gyeongbok. Le sentier de randonnée situé derrière le parc de Sajik conduit à Hwanghakjeong, où les archers de la dynastie Joseon faisaient montre de leur adresse au tir. Hwanghakjeong se trouvait à l’origine dans le palais de Gyeongbok, mais il a été déplacé dans la montagne. Le sommet offre une vue panoramique des environs, avec au centre le palais de Gyeongbok, et s’étend aussi loins que les montagnes Nak, Nam et Baegaksan.

L’itinéraire de randonnée qui longe les remparts est apprécié pour la beauté des paysages que les promeneurs peuvent admirer tout en escaladant la montagne. En suivant le passage qui se trouve à l’intérieur des remparts, on peut apercevoir une volée de marches de pierre après avoir dépassé Changuimun. En montant ces marches, le passage fait un coude vers l’extérieur des remparts. Il continue pendant 200 m et conduit vers un amoncellement de rochers autrefois utilisé pour bâtir des châteaux pendant le règnes des rois Taejo, Sejong et Sukjong. L’épaisse mousse sombre qui recouvre ces pierres témoigne de la longue histoire de Séoul. Le passage mène également au château de Tangchundae. Celui-ci a été construit pour renforcer les defenses de la ville après l’invasion japonaise de 1592 et la guerre contre les Mandchous en 1636.

Le mont Inwangsan culmine à une hauteur de 338,2 m et couvre les quartiers de Honghedong dans l’arrondissement de Seodaemungu ainsi que Muakdong, Nusangdong, Ogindong et Buamdong qui se trouvent à Jongnogu. Des formations rocheuses uniques et colossales, ainsi que la vue sur Séoul et Cheongwadae représentent quelques-uns des nombreux charmes du mont Inwangsan.

Its tasteful renovation of a small 33 m2 hanok made it highly popular among the younger guests. The courtyard has a low maple tree and tastefully arranged stones, while the hanok is capable of accommodating up to 2 persons.
This L-shaped hanok has a full window wall facing the living room, which is furnished with a low walnut table and a bathtub. Visitors can enjoy premium tea at the table. The bathtub, which is connected to the table at one end, can be used mainly for a foot bath with bath salts that assist circulation. There is also a restroom in the building.
Nuwa’s bedroom has a circular window, much like the full moon, with a view of the garden and the fringes of the Inwangsan Mountain.
