Le musée Arario Tapdong Cinéma est l'un trois musées faisant parti du grand musée Arario. Les deux autres sont le musée Dongmun Motel 1 et Dongmun Motel 2. Le directeur Kim Chang-il, un collectionneur d'art, a fait construire ce musée d'art contemporain en utilisant un bâtiment abandonné dans le quartier Tap-dong sur l'île de Jeju.

Inauguré sous le thème de « préservation et création », l'ancien bâtiment a été transformé en un espace où coexistent art et histoire. La structure se distingue par son ambiance unique créée grâce aux caractéristiques du théâtre doté d'un plafond haut et une structure en béton. Le musée expose des œuvres d'artistes internationaux tels que Subodh Gupta et Andy Warhol ainsi que des œuvres d'artistes coréens. Les amateurs d'art moderne locaux et étrangers peuvent donc admirer ici des œuvres célèbres difficiles à trouver à Jeju. Il existe actuellement deux terminaux des passagers de ferry sur le port de Jéju : le terminal international et le terminal intérieur. Les ferrys navigant sur les routes reliant Jéju et les autres regions transportant des passagers (passagers, touristes et divers produits) entrent dans Jéju par ces deux terminaux.
