Yongyeon est un lieu où l’eau de mer rencontre l'eau douce. La légende raconte qu'un envoyé du Roi Dragon se rendait souvent sur ce site. L'étang est étroit et entouré de huit façades rocheuses qui servent comme de paravent. On l’appelle aussi Yongyeon Yabeom, pour faire référence à la pleine lune qui se reflète sur l’eau la nuit, et créé une ambiance nocturne magnifique. C’est pourquoi beaucoup de visiteurs aiment s’y rendre la nuit.

Yongduam désigne un rocher volcanique issu d’une éruption qui s'est produite il y a environ deux millions d’années. Il mesure 10 m de haut et 30 m de long. Il a été appelé de la sorte à cause de la légende qui affirme qu’un dragon (“Yong”) vivant dans son palais avait essayé de monter au ciel mais s’était fait attrapé. A cause de sa forme qui ressemble à la tête d’un dragon, il a été appelé Yongduam (Yong-dragon, Du-tête, Am-rocher). A environ 200 mètres à l’est de Yongduam, on trouve également le fameux site Yongyeon avec son eau claire (étang du dragon).
