Le Mont Yudalsan, à 228m seulement, est situé dans Mokpo-si, Jeolla du Sud. En dépit de sa faible hauteur, la montagne offre une vue panoramique sur toute la ville de Mokpo et la mer.

Au sommet de la montagne visiteurs peuvent trouver Nojeokbong Peak où une statue de l'amiral Yi Sunsin est - c'est le point de repère, où l'amiral Yi, dit-on trompé et a fait fuir les troupes japonaises en empilant les chaumes de paille sur les rochers rendre leur petite armée sembler un bien plus grand. Il y a aussi un pavillon, le 19 avril la tour commémorative, un monument avec les paroles de la chanson «Mokpo de larmes», un temple bouddhiste, un parc de sculptures présentant quelque 100 pièces de sculpture, un parc d'orchidées et le Parc Dalseong avec beaucoup de choses à voir . Ces caractéristiques font de la montagne une destination incontournable pour ceux qui visitent la région Mokpo.

Located 10 min by foot from Mokpo Station, this guesthouse was completed in October 2019. It is located at the foot of the Yudalsan Mountain and has a view of the Ildeung Rock to the back. The name of the guesthouse, Ri-in, refers to a virtuous village. The manager of the guesthouse is an environmental activist with cultural anthropological knowledge and is eager to share the beauty and the ecological culture of Mokpo’s nature and its surrounding areas. The two-story building has three rooms in total. Room 1, the largest among the three, is a self-contained unit with a wide living room, ondol (under-the-floor heating system) rooms, and attic space. It is the only room in which one can cook, and its attic offers a comfortable space furnished with a sofa. Rooms 2 and 3 have a bedroom and an attic, respectively. The bedroom is notable for its window wall, while the attic can accommodate one to two guests on the floor. The building also doubles as a gallery, showcasing the works of Kim Soo-ho, a member of Mokpo’s first generation of Western-style painters, in the hallway and common spaces.
