Temple Bomunsa - Ganghwa (보문사(강화))

Le Temple Bomunsa est situé sur l’Ile de Seokmodo. On dit qu’il a été construit par la Reine Seondeok de la dynastie Silla, en 635. Quand on entre au Temple Bomunsa, la première chose qu’on y voit, c’est le vieil arbre de genévrier chinois qui fait 600 ans. Derrière cet arbre, il y a une caverne naturelle appelée Seokguramja, petite cellule bouddhiste. Seokguramja est faite d’un énorme rocher, et bien que l’entrée est petite, une fois que vous y êtes entré, l’intérieur est assez grand. Il y a aussi une grande meule à côté du temple et elle est environ deux fois plus grandes que les meules ordinaires. Elle était utilisée par les moines pour cuisiner et a été désignée comme Monument Culturel. Une autre chose qu’il faut absolument voir au Temple Bomunsa, c’est la statue du Bouddha assis et le Rocher Nunsseop. La statue du Bouddha assis qui fait 10 mètres de haut, est posée sur le Rocher Nunsseop. D’ici, la Mer de l’Ouest est très connue pour sa beauté. L’Ile de Seokmodo où le Temple Bomunsa est situé, est aussi très fameux pour sa plage de sable et elle sert souvent de jeu de fond pour les tirages de films. Les montagnes et la mer, tout comme l’île sont en harmonie parfaite et l’endroit est spécialement fameux pour son beau lever de soleil et son littoral.

The Beautiful House with the Glow of Sunset, located on Seokmodo Island of Ganghwa-gun, is a pension where you can appreciate the beautiful sunset in a quiet room. All its rooms have an ocean view. The pension opened in 2000, and the last episode of “The Baby Book of GOD,” an entertainment program of MBC, was filmed at this place. The interior of all rooms is made of logs and hardwood furniture to have a snug and cozy atmosphere. You can relax by looking at the sea all day long in a room rich in the smell of trees, or you can appreciate the setting sun on the terrace attached to each room. ‘CASAMIA SUNSET,’ a cafe run by the pension, is also a good place to see the sea and the setting sun. On a clear day, you can enjoy the scenery of the West Sea while sitting leisurely at the table on the outdoor deck of the cafe. The highlight of The Beautiful House with the Glow of Sunset is the outdoor BBQ place with an ocean view and the Sunset Garden. You can have a special experience enjoying BBQ while the sun sets beyond the sea. There is also an indoor BBQ place with a wide table and a fireplace; thus, it is possible to enjoy BBQ regardless of season and weather. The Sunset Garden is a wild flower garden tended by the owner of the pension who planted the seedlings himself. Different wild flowers bloom and fall off each season, and there are fruit trees, too. Handmade fruit syrups made with the fruits picked in the garden such as plum and quince are used for the beverage served in the café, of the side dishes to be eaten with Assorted BBQ. Walking along the marine promenade from the Sunset Garden, you will soon get to the beach and the vast mud flat where you can enjoy the charm of the West Sea which shows a varied landscape by the alternation of ebb and flood. If you carry a tool, you can experience the tideland catching clams and crabs. The Seokmodo Mineral Hot Spring, which opened in January of 2017, is frequented by travelers who like to bathe in hot springs.

Arboretum de l’île Seongmodo (석모도 수목원)

L’Arboretum a été inauguré sur l’île de Seongmodo profitant notamment des conditions climatiques favorables de cette île pour le développement des plantes marines et des plantes issues des zones nécessitant une protection particulière dans le cadre du réchauffement climatique. Le site s'étend le long de la vallée de la région de Seongmo-ri et bénéficie d’un environnement naturel sain et non pollué. Il s'agit d'in lieu touristique où coexistent la montagne et la mer transmettant notamment les valeurs et les bienfaits des forêts.

Plage Minmeoru (민머루해변)

Minmeoru est la seule plage de Seongmodo, une petite île à l’ouest de l’île de Ganghwado. Les visiteurs peuvent ici profiter d’un bain de soleil sur la vaste étendue de sable fin et contempler de magnifiques couchers de soleil sur la mer de l’ouest. Lorsque la marée se retire, une laisse de mer d’environ 1 kilomètre de longueur apparaît.

Les ports de Eoryujeonghang et Janggothang sont situés non loin permettent de prendre part à des activités de pêche en mer. Les attractions populaires touristiques des environs incluent Maaekseokbul (une image de Buddha gravée dans une falaise) et le temple Bomunsa, présumé avoir été construit par la reine Seondeok durant la période Silla (an 635 après Jesus Christ).

Île Seongmodo (석모도)

Seokmodo est l’île située à l’extrêmité ouest de Ganghwado. Un point d’observation sur la mer de l’ouest et ses îles, une ballade sur un littoral charmant constituent les principaux attraits du site. Pour s’y rendre, il vous faudra prendre le bateau à Oepori. Le trajet est court (10 min) alors que les mouettes qui affluent au dessus de la mer créent un spectacle original.

A votre arrivée, prés du débarcadère vous trouverez un point de location de vélos et un arrêt de bus. Si vous avez l’intention de faire une randonnée autour de l’île vous pouvez louer des vélos. Pour visiter l’île vous pouvez également marcher ou prendre la voiture. Si vous souhaitez vous rendre au temple Bomunsa ou à la plage Minmoru prenez le bus dans la direction Bomunsa. Une route fait le tour de l ‘île de façon circulaire, ce qui permet très facilement de presque tout voir. En voiture cela ne prend que 40mn, en vélo 2 heures et demie.

Les deux sites à voir sont indéniablement la plage de Minmoru et le temple Bomunsa. Minmoru est la seule plage touristique de l’île, son découpage est élégant et son panorama magnifique. A proximité se trouve des marais salants. Le temple Bomunsa quant à lui bénéficie d’un paysage littoral splendide, et est réputé pour son coucher de soleil et sa construction dans une grotte naturelle. Ajouté à cela le temple est également connu pour ses rochers en forme de sourcils et son Bouddha assis gravé dans le roc derrière le temple.

Festival de l’éperlan de Ganghwa (강화빙어축제)

Le festival de l’éperlan de Ganghwa est organisé par la section de Ganghwa de l’association des pêcheurs d’Incheon, et a lieu sur le site de pêche de Hwangcheong. Le réservoir de Hwangcheong, où a lieu le festival, arbore de superbes paysages de montagnes et d’anciennes pinèdes à perte de vue. De nombreuses personnes viennent y pêcher en toutes saisons, au carrassin en été et l’éperlan en hiver. Dans ce cadre magnifique, le festival de l’éperlan propose toutes sortes d’activités hivernales : pêche à l’éperlan sous la glace, luge, ou encore vélo sur glace. Les visiteurs peuvent également profiter d’un marché aux produits agricoles, ainsi que de divers espaces culturels.

Golden Grass, located in Ganghwado, Incheon is an 80-year old hanok. Red clay wall, rafters, beams, and main floors exist in harmony. Largo Ville Wave House is a hotel-type accommodation recently opened in 2014 in the largo ville resort district of the Ganghwado, Incheon. There are two buildings, Wave House and Garden House, with six types of rooms including Superior, Premier, Standard, and Suites. Compared to the largo ville resort with kitchenette, the Wave House is characterized by cozier interior which renders itself more suitable for couples rather than families. While all the rooms face the sea, the Superior Spa Room boasts a whirlpool bathtub, which is not found in other rooms of the entire largo ville. The spa room, with its full-length window, offers a view of the West Sea to relieve stress. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, Ocean Pool; a restaurant, The Wave; a cafe, largo; an outdoor grassy square; and ballrooms in each building.
