La playa Songjeong tiene arenas finas y aguas poco profundas, lo que hace de esta playa un lugar ideal para disfrutar en familia. La arena blanca de la costa se extiende unos 1,2 km. y cubre un área de 62.150 metros cuadrados con una capacidad para 14.000 personas. La arena de esta playa es una mezcla de restos del río Songjeong y el polvo de ostras que parecen pequeños mármoles naturales que cubren toda la playa. Además, este lugar tiene el singular ambiente de la región meridional, permitiendo una experiencia más divertida en la playa. En la entrada se encuentra la isla Jukdo, donde se pueden encontrar densos arbustos de hojas perennes con cómodas instalaciones. En la parte noreste de la playa, puede disfrutar de la pesca. También existe un muelle donde puede utilizar lanchas y viajar en cruceros en verano.
