Cheongdo es considerado como el centro de producción más grande de caqui y es la única ciudad de producción de “bansi” (caqui sin pepitas) en Corea. Bajo el lema de “Encanto y sabor de Cheongdo, teñidos con el color caqui”, el Festival de Bansi de Cheongdo se celebra en varios lugares de Cheongdo, incluyendo un escenario al aire libre. Park Jiyun's Gachang Jinbang is a famous restaurant in Daegu serving one of Korea's most beloved traditional snacks, jjinppang (steamed bun). Since opening in 2000, many other jjinppang and mandu restaurants began to open in the area, leading to the formation of a jjinppang street. While there are now many options to choose from, Park Jiyun's Gachang Jinbang continues to be popular, thanks to their use of using dough made fresh daily by hand. Many people will stand in line just to buy the buns from this shop, although they have also recently add the option to order through their website.

Academia de Hanok de Cheongdo (청도한옥학교)

Es una escuela de carpintería, ubicada en el monte Namsan de Cheongdo en la provincia de Gyeongsangbuk-do, en la cercanía de la famosa cascada Nakdae. Está recibiendo gran reputación porque enseña a construir las casas tradicionales de Corea, hanok. Desde el patio abierto de la escuela se presenta una vista espectacular de todo el distrito de Cheongdo. Entre los edificios que integra la escuela también se encuentran los neowajip (casas tradicionales con el tejado de tablas de madera de pino), que ofrece otra atracción singular a los extranjeros.
