Arroyo Namdaecheon (남대천)

Situado en el distrito de Yangyang-gun de la provincia de Gangwon-do, el arroyo Namdaecheon es el más largo de todos los arroyos y ríos de la región de Yeongdong, y también está considerado como el más limpio. El origen del río en el valle Beopsuchiri es famoso por su agua limpia, considerada como la más pura de toda la provincia de Gangwon-do. El 70% de todos los salmones de Corea retornan al Namdaecheon a finales de octubre, justo a tiempo para el festival anual dedicado al salmón.

Pico Daecheongbong (대청봉)

A 1.708 metros de altura, Daecheongbon es el pico más alto del Parque Nacional del Monte Seoraksan, y el tercero en Corea, después de los montes Hallasan y Jirisan. Debido al tiempo irregular y a las bajas temperaturas, hay un gran número de plantas extrañas y de pájaros. Desde el pico Daecheongbong se puede ver las fascinantes vistas del monte Seoraksan en las cuatro direcciones.

El manantial Osaek está situado a 20 kilómetros al oeste de Yangyang y a 7,5 kilómetros al sudeste de Hangyeryeong. El agua, que mana de una grieta entre tres rocas, es carbonatada y rica en hierro. Cada día manan hasta 1.500 litros de agua. Osaek ganó fama debido al fantástico entorno que dirige al manantial y su ubicación de camino hacia la cima del monte Seoraksan.

A unos 3 km del manantial de Osaek la ruta se divide, dando la posibilidad de ir a las cascadas Yongso y Sibi. Jujeongol es el nombre del valle que asciende hasta la cascada Sibi (cuyo nombre significa "doce"). Al subir por este precioso sendero, se encontrará con el estanque Seonnyeotang, la roca Dokjuam, la cascada Yongso y el segundo manantial de Osaek para calmar la sed. el sendero es relativamente sencillo y es apto para senderistas sin experiencia.
