The ondol room furnished with traditional beddings is popular not only among foreigners but also among Koreans due to its special ambience. The ceiling of the room dates back to 80 years ago. The rafter put on the roof at the time of construction of the house shows the antiqueness of the house. The toenmaru (a narrow wooden porch running along the outside of a room) that comes alive with the frequent coming and going of people adds to the ambience of the traditional Korean house, with the Sansuyu (corni) tree and vegetable garden beside the Korean-style house creating a leisurely atmosphere. Beyond being a mere place to sleep in, “The Place Seoul” aims to be a composite cultural space whose motto is “the place to fill.” A simple wedding or a small-scale performance is held in the garden during the day. The rooms can be rented for small meetings. “The Place Seoul” sponsors “WWOOF KOREA,” an NGO promoting environment-friendly agriculture as well as the right dietary life, “Slow Food Korea,” and “Slow Box.” As such, the place serves a special healthy breakfast consisting of homemade bread, handmade yogurt, and organic fruits and vegetables. In addition, the toilet paper, detergent, shampoo, etc. provided are all environment-friendly products. “The Place Seoul” is located on Gyedong-gil Road, a famous tourist attraction in Seoul. It offers easy access to Bukchon Hanok Village, which is on the other side of the Gyedong-gil alley, as well as other major tourist attractions within walking distance including Changdeokgung Palace, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Samcheong-dong, and Insa-dong. Residencia Baek In-je (백인제가옥)

La Residencia Baek In-je está situada en Gahoe-dong. Este edificio conserva el estilo moderno de hanok diseñado durante la colonización japonesa. En un terreno amplia de 2.460 ㎡, la vivienda cuenta con habitaciones y jardines alrededor del salón principal. También hay un pequeño espacio separado para el descanso. La casa mantiene la belleza tradicional del propio hanok con remodelaciones. Así, es una de las representaciones arquitectónicas más conocidas del barrio de Bukchon, junto con la Residencia Yoon Bo-seon.

Diversas características destacan la casa construida en pino negral, presentado por primera vez en Seúl durante la Exposición de Gyeongseong en 1907. Por ejemplo, la Residencia Baek In-je está compuesta por un pasillo que une el salón y las habitaciones, lo que es peculiar en comparación con el hanok clásico. Por otro lado, el pasillo al estilo japonés, la habitación con esteras, el empleo de ladrillos rojos y ventanas de cristal reflejan el paisaje de la época. Asimismo, el salón suele ser de un piso, pero está dividido en dos plantas en esta construcción. Siendo un patrimonio cultural, este lugar agrupa toda la hermosura de hanok, permitiendo contemplar del jardín al salón, del patio al interior de la casa y del trasero del inmueble separado.

Boan1942 (보안1942)

Antes de convertirse en un espacio de arte en 2007, Tongui-dong Boan sirvió como lugar de descanso para los viajeros desde 1942 hasta 2005. Después de una breve pausa, el lugar se renovó como espacio cultural en 2017 para continuar con su legado histórico y brindar creatividad e inspiración bajo el concepto de "Boanstay".

Boan1942 se divide en un espacio cultural (que consta de una cafetería, un taller de proyectos, una librería y un área de exposiciones), y Boanstay (en los pisos 3 y 4, ofreciendo alojamiento temporal a los nómadas culturales). As the old scholars did, sitting on the pavilion makes the time flow slow and the wind that passes over the Sotdae feels special.
In addition, you can experience the beauty of Korean tradition with various programs such as tea ceremony, jjimjilbang, royal robes, and kimchi-making along with traditional Korean food. Parque Sajik de Seúl (사직공원(서울))

El parque Sajik es uno de los tres parques más famosos en Jongno-gu, junto con los parques Tapgol y Samcheong. Situado al oeste de Cheong Wa Dae, cerca del monte Inwangsan, el parque tiene unas impresionantes dimensiones de 188.710 m².

El nombre del parque fue elegido en 1395, cuando Taejo Lee Sung-gye hizo su primer Sajikdan (altar a los dioses del Estado) junto con el santuario Jongmyo, en el centro del parque. "Sa" se refiere a la deidad de la Tierra, mientras que "jik" hace referencia a la deidad de los cinco granos. Varios rituales por buenas cosechas tuvieron lugar regularmente en el Sajikdan; sin embargo, el área no fue reconocida como un parque hasta 1922, durante el período colonial japonés.

En el parque se encuentran muchos parques infantlies, estatuas de Shin Saimdang, Hwanghakjeong y Yi I (nombrado a menudo por su nombre de escritor, Yulgok), y la Biblioteca Municipal Infantil. El santuario Dangun y la Biblioteca de Jongno se encuentran por la zona. Siguiendo el camino cercano al parque Sajik durante 5 minutos, los visitantes pueden llegar a la ruta para excursionistas del monte Inwangsan con relativa facilidad.
