Aeropuerto de Gwangju (광주공항)

El Aeropuerto de Gwangju, la mayor terminal aérea de la región de Honam, se localiza a unos 5,8 km del oeste del Ayuntamiento de Gwangju. El aeródromo de Gwangju fue construido en Hak-dong el 16 de noviembre de 1948, y el primer avión privado (un DC-3) llegó el 10 de febrero de 1949. El aeropuerto se trasladó a su actual localización el 10 de enero de 1964, después de la construcción de todos los servicios para pasajeros como la terminal y el estacionamiento de taxis. Desde 1990, el aeropuerto es administrado por la Corporación de Aeropuertos de Corea y ahora consiste de una terminal de pasajeros, una terminal de carga, una pista, un carril de taxis, una rampa de estacionamiento y un estacionamiento con capacidad para 933 coches.

Parque Sajik de Gwangju (사직공원(광주))

Centro Conmemorativo Owen (오웬기념각)

El Centro Conmemorativo y el Monumento Owen se encuentran dentro de la Facultad Cristiana de Enfermería. El monumento fue construido en 1914 en memoria del misionero Clemente Owen quien, junto al cura Bae Yoo-ji, fue el primer misionero cristiano en ir a la provincia de Jeollanam-do. Este edificio de estilo occidental, de una extensión de 434 metros cuadrados, ha sido utilizado como capilla y como sala de reuniones. Hoy en día se utiliza como auditorio de la facultad.

Casa de Lee Jang-woo (이장우가옥)

Designada Material Folclórico de Gwangju el 20 de marzo de 1989, la casa de Lee Jang-woo es una residencia de lujo con varios edificios: para el servicio, uno adjunto y el principal. Se estima que fueron construidos en 1899. La casa fue propiedad de Jeong Byeong-ho en un principio, aunque es conocida por haber sido el hogar de Lee Jang-woo, el actual dueño desde 1965.

La forma en L de la sala principal de este histórico edificio contiene un balcón, una pequeña habitación, un pasillo, una sala principal, la cocina y otra pequeña habitación. En general, la casa ejemplifica la arquitectura coreana y ha sido conservada en buenas condiciones para mantener su aspecto original.
