The House of Flowers and Lake is an apartment guest house that features Korean style home stay. The owner of the house likes traveling and tries to show his guests the friendliness and consideration of the hosts who greeted him during his trips. There are two rooms in the guest house. The Daffodil Room has a double bed, while Rose Moss Room has two single beds and some furnishings. Note that the Daffodil Room is meant to be an independent space with a separate bathroom and a mini bar on the terrace attached to the room. At night, the rooms can command a good view of Ilsan Lake Park and the town. The communal kitchen and the living room display souvenirs and gifts that the owner received while traveling around the world. Simple American style complimentary breakfast is available. Kim Gwangbun’s Pulhyanggi Sonkalguksu boasts a taste made from 16 years of tradition in serving kal-guksu (handmade noodle soup). The menu includes haemul-kal-guksu (noodle soup with various seafood) and bajirak-kal-guksu (noodle soup with clams). One of its hidden secrets to attract people is the meat broth boiled for four to seven hours. Also, the wang-mandu (big sized dumplings) and kimchi are special points at this restaurant. To keep the best freshness, the owner, Kim Gwangbun goes to the fishery market in person to select the ingredients for the day's meals at dawn. The restaurant is comprised of one main two-story building as well as an additional building.

Durante todas las épocas del año se realizan eventos, exposiciones y festivales de todo tipo. En particular, lo más destacable es que, cada primavera, se celebra la Feria Internacional de Flores de Goyang.
