Ulsan Petroglyph Museum (울산암각화박물관)

Ulsan Petroglyph Museum was established on May 30, 2008 at the entrance to Petroglyphs of Bangudae Terrace (National Treasure No. 285) in Ulju-gun. The museum displays 311 exhibit materials and has an exhibition hall, a storage room, a research lab, and an audiovisual room.

The exhibition hall presents models of petroglyphs of Bangudae and petroglyphs of Cheonjeon-ri (National Treasure No. 147), an educational video introducing the petroglyphs, a children’s hall, and family activity facilities. Visitors can observe reproductions of famous petroglyphs at the outdoor exhibit.

Chisanseowon Confucian Academy (치산서원)

Relics of Park Jesang is also referred to as Chisanseowon Confucian Academy.

Park Jesang, a descendent of Park Hyeokgeose, was severly tortured and then burned to death after rescuing two hostages taken by Japan, who were the brothers of King Nulji.

The nearby temple and Mangbuseok have a folk tale regarding the story. His wife and two daughters died waiting for him and then his wife is said to have turned into Mangbuseok (faithful wife stone) in the eastern Chisullyeong Mountain in Manhwa-ri, Dudong-myeon. According to the legend, her spirit became a bird, and flew away to hide behind Euneulam (Bird Hidden Rock).

After Park Jesang's couragous act, King Nulji gave him a loyal officers position as well as the role of godmother to his wife for her model behavior of wifely duty. Chisanseowon Confucian Academy keeps their ancestral tablets to honor royalty.

Ganjeolgot Sunrise Festival (울산 간절곶 해맞이)

Ganjeolgot Cape in Ulsan is the first place in Korea to see the the sunrise each day, with its end point sticking out into the ocean. The cape is the site of the annual New Year’s Sunrise Festival. The festival starts at sunset on December 31 and is filled with a wide range of performances that last throughout the night. At first light, people can be seen quietly standing with their hands clasped together, making a wish on the newly born year as they watch the sun rise over the ocean.

Fe01 in Ulsan is the world's largest upcycling cultural space. The space features around 1,200 sculptures made from the iron (Fe) of recycled cars and motorcycles through five outdoor exhibitions with unique themes. Visitors can also join activity programs to make their own junk art.

The sunrise along the East Coast can be viewed earliest at Cape Ganjeolgot in Daesong-ri, Uljin-gun. The breathtaking view of the sunrise can be seen a minute earlier than Cape Homigot in Yeongilman Bay and five minutes earlier than Jeongdongjin in Gangneung. Cape Ganjeolgot is in the spotlight as a new tourist attraction along with Jinha Beach and Seosaengpo Japanese Fortress. The lighthouse is located 20 minutes away from the entrance to Ulsan Nambu Beltway.

Ulsan Daegok Museum displays artifacts that were uncovered from the area of Daegok-ri during the construction of Daegok Dam. Approximately 13,000 relics were excavated during land inspection prior to the dam construction, including Hasamjeong Ancient Tomb. These findings were collected and became available for public display when the museum opened on June 24, 2009.

Busan Cheokpanam Hermitage (척판암 (부산))

Cheokpanam Hermitage was initially built in 673 by a monk named Wonhyo, whose legend is still passed down, and was restored in 1938 by another monk named Gyeongheo. Nestled inside the forest on Bulgwangsan Mountain, the hermitage offers a splendid view of the its surroundings. It is located nearby Jangansa Temple, also built by Monk Wonhyo.

Cape Ganjeolgot Somang-gil is a coastal path along Ganjeolgot Beach, where the first sunrise of the Korean peninsula can be witnessed, making it a popular spot for New Year's sunrise wishes. Stretching for 10km from the entrance of Jinha Myeongseongyo Bridge to Sinam Port, the route offers five themed courses: Love, Romance, Happiness, and more. An iconic 5-meter Hope Mailbox stands as a local attraction, set against the beautiful Ganjeolgot Lighthouse, designated as one of the "Sixteen Scenic Lighthouses," and a large-winged windmill.
