The Gimhae Gaya Country Club is a mammoth golf club featuring 6 courses with a combined total of 54 holes (45 holes for club members-only, 9 holes for use by the general public). Of the 6 courses (Sineo, Nakdong, Gimhae, Suro, Garak, and the public course), Sineo is the course that is said to have a ‘feminine touch’ since it features ancient groves of trees and natural landscaping. Haeundae Gaya Milmyeon, founded in May 1998, is a famous milmyeon (wheat noodles) restaurant, a local Busan dish that has been loved for a long time. Milmyeon was created during the Korean War. Refugees who missed the taste of Hamheung-style naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles) made noodles using wheat flour instead of buckwheat, which was difficult to find in Busan at the time, and milmyeon became a local food in Busan. Haeundae Gaya Milmyeon boils brisket, shank, native chicken feet, ginger, onion, garlic, and various herbal medicines for 48 hours to create their broth. Then, the broth is aged for more than a year. A bowl of chewy milymeon noodles is served in a refreshing, icy broth topped with pickled radish, cucumber, boiled egg, and meat garnish. In addition to milmyeon, the restaurant also sells bibimmyeon (spicy noodles) and mandu (dumplings) with impressive chewy mandu skin.

The Millak Waterfront Park was built between August 1992 and May 1997. The park is 543 meters long and 60 meters wide. Located between Haeundae Beach and Gwangalli Beach, it is the first park in Korea to combine the oceanfront with public rest and leisure facilities. The park (about 33,000 ㎡) can accommodate up to 40,000 people and boasts convenience facilities such as gardens, shaded rest areas, and benches. The 3,040 ㎡ platform from which visitors can overlook the beach also serves as a place where people can dip their feet in the ocean when the tide is high.
