Located in Banditbul Village in Seorak-myeon, Bandi Village is a pool villa pension for pet dogs. It offers six private guest rooms equipped with an exclusive swimming pool, a playground, and a cafe for dogs. It is a must-visit place for families with pet dogs. All guest rooms at Bandi Village have two stories. There are four two-guest villas and two four-guest villas. Each villa has a swimming pool for dogs and a front lawn where dogs can freely run in. In the warm, wood toned guest rooms have dog-friendly interior designs in all aspects. An exclusive bathtub and a dry room for the four-legged guests in the room are the highlights of Bandi Village. As it is a resort for dogs, they offer a full range of grooming services. The pension provides complementary pee pads, belly bands and dog towels. Emergency first aid kits for dogs are also available. Outside the building, there is an outdoor area where guests can enjoy a barbecue. In addition to the guest rooms, the common areas also stand out. Guests can enjoy welcome drinks and breakfast at Cafe Bandi located at the entrance. Bandi Village is also equipped with exercise equipment for dogs to help them exercise. In the middle of the pension, there is a grassy field where all dogs can play. It is completely enclosed with safety fences. The grassy field is regularly maintained by a professional anti-pest company so you can let your animal friend play without worrying about ticks.

The Freshwater Fish Ecology Center is a venue dedicated to the observation of the ecological life of diverse freshwater fish. The center offers many educational facilities, including a Freshwater Fish Aquarium, a Freshwater Fish Experience Playground, a Video Learning Center, an Ecology Pond, and more. It exhibits 1,200 freshwater fish of sixty different species. Visitors have the opportunity to encounter native Korean freshwater fish, such as Sturgeon, Korean Torrent Catfish, Bitterling, Korean Rose Bitterling, and more.

Gugokpokpo Falls (구곡폭포)

Located at the foot of Bonghwasan Mountain in Chuncheon, Gugok Falls with a x_height of 50 m is one of the representative tourist destinations in the Gangchon area. It was named “Gugok” because the falls twist (gok) and turn nine (gu) different times before dropping down, and is also called “Guguripokpo.” Gugok Falls flowing down from a huge stone wall create fantastic scenery. Many tourists visit the falls every year to enjoy cool, refreshing water to overcome the heat wave in summer and to admire a majestic view of the giant ice wall in winter. The road from the ticket booth to the falls is gentle and requires about 20 min walk. It is an easy walking path surrounded by woods and the valley. Visitors can also try to find the nine wooden panels inspired by the spirit of Gugok and designed with Hangeul alphabet “ㄲ” letters (such as 꿈, 끼, 꾀, 깡, etc.). If you go up for about 40 min along the Kkalttak Pass, which is on the right side of the Gugok Falls entrance, you will find Munbae Village, nestled in a basin. The village restaurants are known for local dishes, such as wild vegetable bibimbap and folk liquor. Visitors can also stay overnight at the National Leisure Campground built in the Gukgok Falls Tourist Area.

Pungsuwon Museum (풍수원유물전시관)

The Catholic Church in Pungsuwon was built mainly by believers who migrated to escape Catholic persecution. Pungsuwon Catholic Church is the 4th Catholic Church built in Korea, and the first Catholic Church built by a Korean priest. The Pungsuwon parish had jurisdiction over 29 public offices in 12 cities and counties, including Chuncheon, Wonju, Hwacheon, Yanggu, Hongcheon, Hoengseong, Pyeongchang, and Yangpyeong. Located in Yuhyeon-ri, Seowon-myeon, Hoengseong-gun, Pungsuwon Catholic Church was designated as a tangible cultural property of Gangwon-do in 1982. The Pungsuwon Museum is located behind the Pungsuwon Catholic Church and is a relics exhibition hall consisting of 3 exhibition facilities on the 2nd floor. During the persecution of the Catholic Church, over 1,000 objects used by priests to celebrate mass and 1,000 relics that give a glimpse into the lives of the ancestors in the past are exhibited.

Pungsuwon was the first catholic village in which over 40 faithful from Yongin (Gyeonggi-do), led by Sin Tae-bo (or St. Peter), settled to escape the wrath of Sinyubakhae (religious persecution of Catholics) of 1801. Over a period of 80 years, the settlers had led their religious lives without a priest until Father Le Merre (a French priest) came to the village in 1888. Succeeding Le Merre in 1896, Father Jeong Gyu-ha (or Augustino), along with Chinese engineers, began to build Pungsuwon Cathedral.

Completed in 1907 by the faithful, the cathedral still remains a beautiful building even after 110 years; it is a popular spot for visitors, having frequently appeared in Korean dramas and films such as “Love Letter (1995 MBC miniseries).” It is the first cathedral built by a Korean priest as well as in Gangwon-do; it is the fourth cathedral built in Korea. Pungsuwon Cathedral was designated as Gangwon-do Local Cultural Property No.69 in 1982.

Eobigyegok Valley, originating from Eobisan Mountain, is aptly named 'Eobi' ('flying fish') as visitors can often witness fish leaping from the valley's crystal-clear waters. The constructed walkway, meandering alongside fountains and through valleys, provides stunning scenic views. In winter, the valley transforms as a 25-meter natural ice wall forms around the palgakjeong pavilion, offering a breathtaking spectacle. After Gyeongchun Subway Line opened, the old train tracks turned into a rail bike park. Gangchon Rail Park starts next to Gimyujeong Station and offers various attractions including large book photo zone, café, zipwire and more. The total course of the rail bike is 8.5 kilometers long with 6 kilometers on rail bike and last 2.5 kilometers on a train. Most of the track is downhill for an easy ride with a beautiful view of mountains, fields, and a river. With an additional fee, visitors can enjoy the VR experience section of the ride. After riding the final section on a train along the Bukhangang River, riders will take the shuttle bus back to the original location. There are also a 7.2-kilometer-long Gyeonggang Railbike that starts from Gyeonggang Station at a separate charge.
