Gosam Reservoir is a vast reservoir that was completed in 1963 to supply water to nearby areas. The reservoir is abundant in aquatic plants, providing a good habitat for fish. The dreamy scenery in foggy dawn is like a painting. For this reason, it is a famous filming location frequented by photographers. Visitors can enjoy a walk along the path around while listening to early birds chirp in the background. It is known as a popular spot for auto-camping. The reservoir has three small islands known as Baseok Island, Palja Island, and Donggeurak Island. The lake is so large that it may feel like an ocean surrounded by land. The lake's circumference is 14 kilometers, and it takes 25 minutes by car to encircle the whole lake. The lakeside is also a cherry blossom driving course in spring. In addition to being a popular free campsite, the reservoir is also famous for its fabulous sunset and sunrise views.

Dae Jang Geum Park is the largest historical drama set of MBC in Korea, featuring various architectural sets reconstructed from different historical periods. Anseong was the birthplace of namsadang, troupes of entertainers who traveled around the country during the Joseon era, and the hub of Korean art and culture. Namsadang Baudeogi Festival aims to develop and continue the heritage of the artistic spirit of Baudeogi by providing various traditional performances and events. The festival also became designated as the official festival of UNESCO's CIOFF (International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts) in 2006.

Namsadang refers to performance troupes which started during the late Joseon period (1392-1910). At the time, Namsadang troupes traveled throughout villages, entertaining the people with traditional performances such as pungmulnori, tightrope walking, and more. Regular Namsadang performances in Anseong first began in order to commemorate Anseong Namsadang, known to be the best of all Namsadang troupes, and the troupe's leader, Baudeogi.

Namsadang is a renowned troupe that combines regional traditional arts, such as acrobatics, singing, dancing, and circus performances that originated from the Anseong area. The troupe was formed in honor of Baudeogi, a celebrated artist of the Joseon dynasty and Korea's first official female entertainer.

Namsadang performs on an ongoing basis and also focuses on developing and promoting various hands-on Namsadang programs. Through their world tour, Namsadang plays a big role in spreading Korea's culture internationally. The annual Baudeogi Festival is also a great opportunity for visitors to take in various performances and take part in activities.

Anseong Machum Land (안성맞춤랜드)

Anseong Machum Land is a resting place in the forest for Anseong citizens, and at the same time, it is a place for culture and arts. Gang Seonyeong, who devoted a lifetime to traditional dance, built the Taepyeongmu Instruction Hall at her own expense in 1998 in her hometown of Anseong for the proper initiation into, and the preservation of traditional dance. Taepyeongmu dance is a traditional court dance that embodies the continuing hope for the nation to exist in peace. The dancers are adorned in magnificent regal costumes and execute enthusiastic movements, alternating steps while in serene repose. The center has a large performance hall with dance performances every Saturday and a museum displaying Taepyeongmu dance-related materials and folk articles from around the world.
