Dream Forest, previously known as Odong Neighborhood Park, is located in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul. The park is surrounded by cherry blossom trees, and the northern section is filled with maple trees, making the park especially attractive in spring and fall. The Changnyeongwigung Ritual House (Registered Cultural Heritage) has been restored with traditional landscaping such as a pond, pavilion and waterfall created nearby to double the genuine beauty of a traditional Korean park. Major attractions of the park include Wolyeongji Pond, Grass Square, Wolgwangpokpo Falls, Aewoljeong Pavilion, Chilbokji Falls, Event Garden, Children’s Gallery, Wild Grass Garden, Deer Ranch, Exploring Path, Forest Rest, and a water park. Songnidan-gil Street (송리단길)

Located south of the eastern side of Seokchon Lake, this street is home to numerous restaurants and cafes. Its name comes from the combination of Songpa-dong and Gyeongnidan-gil Street in Itaewon, Seoul, meaning the “Gyeongnidan-gil Street of Songpa-dong.” This street began as an otherwise unremarkable street that faced the eastern side of Seokchon Lake. Today’s “Songnidan-gil Street” came to be as cafes moved into the neighborhood, followed by restaurants and photography studios. Geomdansan Mountain (alt. 657 m) is one of the major mountains in Hanam. During the Baekje period, it was a sacred mountain where the kings would offer ceremonial services to the gods. From the summit, one can get a great view of Yangsuri, where the Namhangang River and Bukhangang River meet, as well as Hanam, Seoul, Yangpyeong, and Paldangho Lake area.

Due to its proximity to the Seoul Metropolitan Area, it is a popular day trip course. Getting there is easy and the hiking trails, which are not too difficult, are well maintained. From the summit, one can get a great view of Bukhansan Mountain and Dobongsan Mountain in the distance. Hikers can also see Paldang Dam to the east, Yongmasan Mountain to the south, and the Jungbu Expressway to the west.
