Minsok Sundae Town is situated near Sillim Station, an area renowned for its abundance of sundae restaurants. Sundae, a quintessential Korean street food, is crafted by blending vegetables, glass noodles, seasoning, and pig's blood, which is then encased in pig intestines and steamed. The flagship menu, sundae bokkeum (stir-fried sundae), involves slicing sundae and stir-frying it with an array of vegetables, chili pepper powder, red chili paste, and other seasonings on a griddle. Janggyeongsa Temple is located in Namhansanseong Fortress. Namhansanseong Fortress, which protected Seoul along with Bukhansanseong Fortress, was built at the same time as Janggyeongsa Temple in 1638, during the 16th year of King Injo. Warrior monks from all eight provinces throughout the country helped with the construction. Janggyeongsa Temple is the only remaining temple among nine such temples where military groups made up of monks stayed for trainings.

Kansong House (간송옛집)

The 100-year-old traditional hanok Kansong House sits by the burial mound of Kansong Jeon Hyeong-pil (1906-1962), who played a significant role in preserving the cultural heritages of Korea during the Japanese colonial period. This house was orginally built by Kansong's adoptive father Jeon Myeong-gi (1870-1919) to us as a storage facilities for harvested agriculture from the northern Gyeonggi-do and Hwanghae. After his father's death, Kansong used the house as a ritual house for his father and often stayed here. Some damages were done to the house during the Korean War, and partial repair was made after his death.
