Soulone, meaning "filled with laughter," is a healing space of approximately 13,200 square meters. The garden aims to provide a place where guests can rest their weary bodies and minds while being surrounded by trees and flowers. The garden is decorated with ornamental trees, rocks, and bonsai, along with other kinds of plants, like tropical plants in the greenhouse. A coffee shop with a modern interior allows visitors to enjoy the landscaped garden in comfort. More active guests can enjoy a light walk through a tunnel of trees on the mountain road. Located in Paju, Jangneung is the tomb of King Injo (1595-1649, reign 1623-1649), the 16th ruler of the Joseon dynasty, and Queen Inyeol.

King Injo took the throne in 1623 after having overthrown the previous king, Gwanghaegun, in a military revolt. During his reign, King Injo faced challenges from two foreign invasions in 1627 and 1637. He died in 1649 in Changdeokgung Palace.

The observatory not only has a 3m circular dome and sliding dome, but also a catadioptric telescope and other major equipment for space observation. Other programs like ‘A Trip to the Space with My Daddy”, and “Weekend Family FAM Tour” are also available. In a "A Trip to Space with My Daddy” (21:00 to 24:00 daily) participants can learn how to operate a telescope and observe celestial bodies in space. The “Weekend Family FAM Tour” program opens from 10:00 to 17:00 on weekends and presents short films on astronomy and gives visitors a look at telescopes and other astrological equipment. The program is popular among elementary and middle school students from Seoul and Ilsan area.

Hwang Hui (1363-1452) is a prime minister who played a significant role in the early Joseon dynasty. Constructed in three stages, the tomb's burial mound is notably large. Hwang Hui was an official instrumental in establishing the foundations of Joseon. He served under King Taejong, the 3rd king of Joseon, and King Sejong, the 4th king, making notable contributions in diplomacy, law, science, and national defense. His descendants have continued to honor his legacy by maintaining the tomb.
