This hanok (traditional Korean house) is located in Seochon Village near Gyeongbokgung Palace. It is a modern C-shaped hanok centered around the inner courtyard, which is the first thing that the guests see after entering through the gate. While it is not expansive, white pebbles and a foot bath make this hanok a unique one. One can enjoy a foot bath while sitting on the porch.
The bedroom, which is located beyond the living room, is furnished with a queen-sized bed. Opening the screen doors brings one to the view of the kitchen area beyond the inner courtyard. A large table, plush sofa, and a small bookcase make the space ideal for books and discussions. Climbing the wooden ladder to the side of the kitchen brings one to the attic, which also doubles as a Korean-style room with a skylight. The kitchen is furnished with a refrigerator, microwave oven, gas stove, electric kettle, toaster, pots, utensils, wine glasses, and bottled water. There is a restroom with a bathtub. The standard occupancy of the house is 4 people.

La cathédrale Yakhyeon et une petite cathédrale de 396m², 32m de longueur et 12m de largeur.
Ce bâtiment a été construit en 1886 lors du gouvernement de Gojong comme lieu d'offide de la cathédrale de Myeongdon après que la liberté de religion a été légitime.
Le père Doucet qui été la cure de la cathédrale de Myeongdong a muni le terrain et l'archidiacre pére Coste s'est occupé de la construction. Enfin la cathédrale est construite en tant que la cathédrale Yakhyeon en 1892.
Le site où la cathédrale a été construite était normalement un lieu où l'on cultivait des herbes médicinale(yakcho en coréen) et s'appeleait 'Yakjeonhyeon'.
En l'abrégeant nous l'appelions 'Yakhyeon' et la cathédrale a également eu se nom.
La cahtédrale Yakhyeon est la première cathédrale de la Corée bâtit sous une forme occidentale.
De plus, la cathédrale contient des éléments gothique mais a plutôt un style roman en général avec son toit rond et ses fenêtres étroites.

Rue Gyeongridan-gil (경리단길)

La rue Gyeongridan-gil désigne communément la route et les ruelles environnantes qui s'étendent sur un total de 937 m depuis la porte d'entrée du Corps de gestion financière de l'armée nationale jusqu'à l'hôtel Grand Hyatt.
Le nom de cette rue provient du Corp central de l'armée (Yukgun Jungang Gyeongridan en coréen) qui s'y trouvait dans le passé. Cette rue a gagné en popularité en raison de son atmosphère différente de celle des autres zones du quartier d'Itaewon-dong bien qu'elle en fasse partie. C'est un espace dédié à la culture et à la jeunesse où l'on peut trouver des restaurants et des cafés qui proposent une variété de plats originaux.
La rue Gyeongridan-gil est à la fois un quartier ordinaire de Séoul tout en étant un quartier à l'ambiance exotique où les étrangers venus du monde entier entrent en contact naturellement avec les habitants.
