Le parc du lac d'Ilsan, d'une superficie de 991 800 m², est le plus grand parc artificiel situé à l'est de la ville. Afin de contrôler la qualité de l'eau, seulement l'eau issue de la réserve de Jamsil, une fois purifiée et traitée chimiquement, est ajoutée au lac.

Ce parc est un endroit idéal pour se reposer et profiter du paysage. Il comprend d'ailleurs plus d'une centaine d'espèces de fleurs sauvages, une forêt de plus de 200 000 arbres, ainsi qu'une population de grues du Japon.
