Isla Odongdo (오동도)

Cuando hablamos de Yeosu, se destaca la isla Odongdo, famosa por las camelias. El aparcamiento de la isla se encuentra a 10 minutos del centro la ciudad en coche. Caminando unos 15 minutos, llegará al destino. Originalmente una isla, ahora los visitantes pueden caminar por los muelles del Puerto de Yeosu hasta Odongdo. Aquí florecen 70 especies de flores silvestres, y una colina conmemora la plantación del primer árbol, justo al lado de un vasto y verde prado que resulta un lugar ideal para la educación ecológica. La isla Odongdo es uno de los mejores lugares para observar camelias. Estas comienzan a florecer en noviembre, y el color de toda la isla cambia a un bonito escarlata hasta abril del año siguiente. De hecho, durante estos meses toda la isla parece una gran flor de camelia. El paseo que cruza la isla es muy popular para paseos románticos.

Isla Dolsando (돌산도)

Dolsando es la séptima isla más grande de Corea y está conectada a la península por el puente Dolsan. Desde su finalización, el 15 de diciembre de 1984, el puente de 450 metros de largo y 11,7 de ancho se ha convertido en una famosa atracción turística.

Sunset (Ilmol) Hanok is located in Waon Village in Suncheon, South Jeolla Province. Its proximity to Waon Beach, a famous site for sunset watching, and the unspoiled tidelands of Suncheonman Bay make the pension a great healing place. There are three Korean-style floor bedding rooms and a bedroom in the house. Nangman and Haengbok, with traditional “gudeul” floor heating, offer a great view of the scenery and the sunset from the comforts of the rooms. The Sarang and Hwamok rooms use wood-fired heating, which offers great warmth during the winter season. Hwamok, in particular, is spread out between the main building and the “anchae” (inner chamber), combining a bedroom and a wide floor-heated Korean-style room suitable for large groups. All rooms in Sunset Hanok are equipped with a kitchen sink, induction stove, refrigerator, and cooking utensils, and there is also an outdoor barbeque area for guests. These features make the pension highly popular for family travelers.
