El museo que une el palacio Deoksugung con el palacio Gyeonghuigung fue construido en la parte restante de la antigua Corte Suprema en el estilo de los años 1920. Los 6 espacios de exposición más importantes son el vestíbulo principal, la sala de esculturas y la sala especial que expone colecciones de arte moderno de Corea. Hyundai Kalguksu is a kalguksu (handmade knife-cut noodles) restaurant that has been in the family for two generations (1982). The restaurant is extremely popular among people working at nearby businesses, thanks to the rich flavor of the broth. Anchovies, dried pollack heads, and kelp are simmered for many hours, and then, other ingredients are added: soft noodles and various vegetables including pumpkin, onion, and green onions. The restaurant is famous for the exquisite taste of its kalguksu, as well as for its large servings. Just one bowl is enough to satisfy a starving man, but if you are still hungry, don’t hesitate to ask for more rice or noodles for free. Another unforgettable specialty here is kimchi. Ubicado en los alrededores del Mercado Dongdaemun de Seúl, The Ssanghwa COFFEE es un salón de té especializado en té tradicional con hierbas medicinales hanbang. Además de ofrecer té tradicional coreano, el salón también está ambientado en la arquitectura tradicional de Corea, con decoración tipo hanok y con suelo radiante ondol. Su ambiente acogedor es muy popular entre personas de todas las edades. El salón está compuesto de tres construcciones separadas, por lo que se pide la orden en la construcción principal y luego se pueden consumir las bebidas en alguna de las otras dos, que reciben los nombres de Byeolgung y Ssanghwagung. Debido a su popularidad, ha abierto otras tiendas en Seúl y demás puntos del país. Entre los tés tradicionales, además del ssanghwa tradicional, se venden el ssanghwa especial y el ssanghwa con huevo (gyerandongdong ssanghwa); mientras que hay acompañamientos como gachas juk, jarabe de ginseng, frutas, pastel de arroz tteok, etc. Este salón es tan popular que se aconseja hacer reserva antes de visitarlo.
