The Freshwater Fish Ecology Center is a venue dedicated to the observation of the ecological life of diverse freshwater fish. The center offers many educational facilities, including a Freshwater Fish Aquarium, a Freshwater Fish Experience Playground, a Video Learning Center, an Ecology Pond, and more. It exhibits 1,200 freshwater fish of sixty different species. Visitors have the opportunity to encounter native Korean freshwater fish, such as Sturgeon, Korean Torrent Catfish, Bitterling, Korean Rose Bitterling, and more.

The stone walls of Pasasan Fortress stretch along the ridge of the 250-meter-high Pasasan Mountain. The fortress is strategically situated for national defense by being located at the edge of the river bank, from which you can see both upstream and downstream. It is said that the fortress was constructed during the reign of the King Pasa, the 5th ruler of the Silla Kingdom. The walls stretch over 1,800 meters in length. At its highest point, the wall is 6.25 meters tall, and 1.4 meters tall at its lowest point.

The JooPil Spider Museum was founded on September 1, 1985 by Dr. Kim Ju-pil, who traveled around the world to collect and study spiders. The museum aims to be a fundamental education center for students by offering them various hands-on scientific activities. The main building has a collection of spiders and insects from around the world. The annex exhibits rare minerals from around the world as well as microscopes to show the dissection of spiders. The museum has a total of approximately 220,000 spider samples from more than 5,000 species.

Lemongrass Pension is a private pension nestled next to a clean stream at the foot of Sorisan Mountain in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do Province. The host lives on the premises to keep the facilities clean and offers friendly services. All five guest rooms are private two-story buildings, which come in difference sizes for groups of two, four, six, and eight guests. As soon as you open the door to the guest room, you can see a full wall window that shows the beautiful scenery of the mountain. All guest rooms have a self-contained kitchen with a refrigerator, a microwave, and tableware. In addition to this, there is an exclusive indoor barbecue area as well. The pension also has a front lawn that is well maintained. The front lawn is connected to a deck and there are also convenient facilities such as bench and rocking chair. In particular, the pension has an outdoor barbecue area that is shared by all guests. You can enjoy the luxury of having a meal over the panoramic view of Sorisan Mountain. There are also complementary facilities that the guests can use conveniently including cafeteria, foot volleyball court, and baseball court. Vivaldi Park is only 10 minutes away from the pension. Yangpyeong Icefish Festival takes place in Soomy Village from late-December to early-February. Residents are preparing for the festival to welcome all visitors including families, couples, groups and others. During the festival, visitors can eat warm fish cakes and roasted chestnuts. Aside from ice fishing, other traditional winter games and activities such as kite-flying, top spinning, sledding and jjinbbang-making (steamed bun with red bean filling) will be available.

During lunch, tteokguk (sliced rice cake soup), bingeohoe muchim (seasoned raw smelt salad) and bingeo twigim (deep-fried smelt) are available at the Women's Society of Soomy Land. One special trait of this festival is the offer of an all-inclusive experience package. After making a reservation, families can enjoy a full day of fun experiences from the moment they arrive until the time they head home with no additional fees to worry about.
