It is a widely spread natural river wetland eco-park that covers 13.130㎡ along the waterside of Tamjin River, which holds superior-grade water that flows mainly through the Jangheung area from Pyeonghwa Bridge in Jangheung-eup to Busan Bridge. The Jeongnamjin Jangheung Water Festival is held in the cleanest locations, such as the Tamjingang River, Jangheung Dam Lake, and Deungnyangman Beach. The summer festival runs a variety of programs under the familiar theme of “water” for those who want to get out of the heat. Main programs include “Salsu Battle Street Parade” and “World's Largest Water Fight,” where locals and tourists alike gather to join in the fun. Water guns are a must-have!
