Ssangam Park is located in front of the Gwangju Institute of Science and technology within Cheomdanjigu (the high-technology district) in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju. Gwangju History & Folk Museum opened in 1987 as the largest museum operated by a city government in Korea.
