Almex Land is a camping and resort complex overlooking the Imjin River in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do. The resort offers a family room accommodating up to eight people; a panorama room with a 180-degree view over the Imjin River; and two connecting rooms designed for large groups. Breakfast needs to be booked ahead, and is charged for. Resort leisure facilities include a 7 kilometre train ride round the forest, a swimming pool in summer, a sledding slope in winter, a kids’ cafe, and a woodland trail.

Sangseung Observation Post is a popular security tourism destination, providing a unique vantage point to observe enemy activities near the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Due to its location within the DMZ, the actual First Tunnel is inaccessible; however, a full-size model is available at the nearby Sangseung Observation Post. Visitors are required to apply seven days in advance and present identification at the post for access.

Yulgok Arboretum was established for the preservation, proliferation, and exhibition of plant genetic resources, and provides a variety of resort services related to forest culture for citizens. It features a four seasons garden, conifers garden, rock garden, fruit tree garden, Saimdang Forest, and many other beautiful venues, and also offers diverse forest experiences. It also provides a forest experience program for infants and toddlers as well as a forest healing program in which people of all ages and genders may participate. The Dulle Trail surrounding the arboretum runs some 5 kilometers in length and exudes diverse views from its observatory, pine scent path, and Munbawi Rock. From the arboretum, you will be able to see the Imjingang River to the north and great mountains such as Papyeongsan and Gamaksan to the east. It is possible to tour the historical sites of Yulgok Yi I and Hwang Hui as well since they are close by.

Ttakttaguri Youth Center is a recreational facility that develops workshop programs for students, groups, organizations, and institutes. The Herb Village in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do Province gives a splendid view of Imjingang River. This beautiful oasis is perfect for a relaxing day out of Seoul with the whole family. Colorful flowers, wooden benches, original statues, and a beautiful landscape decorate the whole space of the garden. One can just take a leisurely walk down the hill towards the river while stopping to smell the herbs every once in a while.

The village is just a short drive from Seoul and one can enjoy a scenic view of the surroundings along the way.
