The clear waters that are highlighted with cobalt-blue and the clean white sand of Gimnyeong Seongsegihaebyeon Beach steal the hearts of visitors every year. Not far from the beach is Manjanggul Cave, which offers a welcome escape from the daytime heat.

Wang Ilbeonji Sikdang specializes in black pork bulgogi. Their dwaeji bulgogi (pork bulgogi) is marinated in a spicy sauce and served with Jeju bracken and shiitake mushrooms. Accompanied by seaweed soup and a variety of side dishes, the meal also features juicy and thick black pork belly. It offers a plentiful meal at a reasonable price and is only open for lunch.

Sangumburi Crater (산굼부리)

Sangumburi Crater has been designated as a Natural Monument. It is located on the southeast side of Jeju, and is a flat crater, about 650 meters wide, 100 meters deep, and 2,070 meters in circumference. If you look at the crater from above up, it looks like a man-made circular stadium. There is a variety of plant-life in the crater. On the north side, Nandaeseong vegetation such as red-thorn trees, and magnolia trees grow, along with the rare winter strawberries. On the south side of the crater, Ondaerim vegetation such as evergreens, maples, and mountain strawberry trees cover the area. Because so many different kinds of trees and plants grow in such a limited space, it attracts the attention of researchers as well.

Byeolbangjin Fortress was designated as a Jeju Monument on April 3, 1973. The fortress is about 950 meters in circumference. The oval fortress was built in consideration of the location's topography having a higher terrain in the southern part and a lower terrain in the northern part. Of all the fortresses in Jeju, Byeolbangjin Fortress is in relatively good shape. The fortress is also an important example of how fortresses in Jeju were built and in what scale.
