Hansan Ramie Fabric Cultural Festival is an experiential venue to learn about the excellence and historical value of UNESCO-recognized Hansan ramie fabric (Mosi), a traditional Korean natural fiber. Many visitors can understand the traditional culture of Hansan ramie fabric that has continued for 1,500 years in Seocheon-gun and enjoy handicraft and clothes made with the ramie fabric. Hansan ramie fabric was given as a regional tribute to the king and has continued on as a local specialty product that is notable from past to present.

Bonghwa Euneo (Sweetfish) Festival, held in Bonghwa-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, celebrates the local specialty product of sweetfish. Naeseongcheon Stream in Bonghwa-gun is considered one of the purest environments, producing high quality sweetfish. The fishes here were even given to the king as a local tribute during the Joseon Dynasty. The festival offers numerous participatory programs including fishing, water play, a water fight, and agricultural experiences. Visitors who participate in fishing activities can feast on their catch. Moreover, there are several educational and cultural programs including a freshwater fish exhibition featuring trout and other species, a sweetfish ecology center where visitors can observe the natural environment that the fish live in, the Korean Currency Museum, Bonghwa tourist photo center, sweetfish painting, ceramic, hanji (traditional Korean paper) handicraft, and stone inscription.

The main program of Wonju Dynamic Dancing Carnival is the street parade, the biggest and the longest street parade festival in the nation, featuring variety of folk dances and magnificent military marching bands from international teams across the globe, as well as the local citizens' passionate performances. Hyoseok Cultural Festival is held to commemorate modern Korean writer Lee Hyo-seok and his popular novel "When Buckwheat Flowers Bloom," which demonstrates the connection between human life and the beauty of nature through the dazzling scenery of Bongpyeong. In fact, Bongpyeong is the author's hometown, and appears frequently in his novels. The cultural festival commemorates Lee Hyo-seok's novel and offers a chance for visitors to tour Lee Hyo-seok's birthplace and memorial hall.

Every year, a hanu (Korean cattle) festival takes place in Hoengseong county, where the climate and the environment are said to be perfect for raising cattle. The festival attracts a large number of people, who come to try Hoengseong hanu beef at affordable prices as well as deodeok (mountain bellflower), another specialty of Hoengseong. In addition to food sampling, the festival holds diverse agricultural experience programs.

The Gangneung Coffee Festival held its first event in 2009 as part of a project in making Gangneung a city of coffee. The festival celebrates the emerging coffee culture of Gangneung-si, which in recent years has welcomed in famous coffee chains and artisan coffee shops. The festival celebrates the scenic city’s past and present culture with a variety of coffee-related events such as exhibitions, photo exhibitions, coffee-making and coffee bean-roasting experience programs. Coffee entrepreneurs can also sign up for on-site seminars about the coffee industry.

Tongyeong Hansan Battle Festival commemorates the Great Battle of Hansan (1592), one of the most important sea battles in Korean history. Visitors to this festival will be able to see models of the geobukseon (turtle ship) designed by Admiral Yi Sun-sin and the ships used by the Japanese navy at the time. In addition to learning all about the battle, guests will be able to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of Tongyeong.
