Ducksugung is a hanok guesthouse located in the residential area across the entrance to Jeonju Hanok Village. You can rest here comfortably while you stay since the guesthouse is not located in a crowded tourist spot. As you enter the house after opening the wooden gates, you can see two elegant and beautiful main hanok buildings and an annex building, which are surrounding a small front yard. There is a total of eight guest rooms. There are seven couple rooms for two guests, and one guest room for a family of four. All guest rooms are ondol rooms. The guesthouse provides thick Korean style floor mats and bedding for each guest. The guest rooms have a bathroom, a mini refrigerator, a television, amenities and a dryer. The guest rooms do not have cooking facilities. Instead, you can cook in the shared kitchen equipped with a microwave, a water purifier, a toaster, and an electric kettle. A perk of staying here is that you can get special discount deals. You can rent hanboks and eat bibimbap and bean sproud stew at discounted prices from the discount program partners operating in Jeonju Hanok Village. You can also use the rail bike facility close to the guesthouse at discounted prices. Deoksugung also offers guest parking spaces, which is rare for most accommodation facilities operating in Jeonju Hanok Village. It will be convenient if you are traveling in a car. It is also a safe place to stay as the guesthouse hires a professional disinfection company to sterilize the place. Popular tourist spots such as Jeondong Cathedral, Omokdae and Imokdae Historic Sites, and Jaman Mural Village are within walking distance from the guesthouse. It is quite fun to explore traditional tea houses and popular restaurants hidden in the small alleyways around the guesthouse.
