Located in the east valley of Gyeryongsan Mountain in Hakbong-ri, Banpo-myeon, Gongju, Donghaksa Temple is the first and the oldest existing academic institute for female monks. Home to about 150 monks who study and practice Buddhism, the temple is the most visited spot on all of Gyerongsan Mountain due to its history, convenient location, and visitor facilities.

The elegant structure of the temple is x_heighted by the majestic view of Munpilbong Peak to its front. In the spring, many visitors come to the temple to see the cherry blossom tunnel, a 3 kilometer pathway from Bakjeongja three-way intersection to Donghaksa Temple. Every year since 1993 the temple has also been the venue of the Donghaksa Spring Flower Festival.

Dutasan National Recreational Forest is located at the foot of Dutasan Mountain, which rises 1,357 meters above the sea level and straddles the border between Jinbu-myeon of Pyeongchang-gun and Jeongseon-gun. The recreational forest is in the center of many popular attractions, including Odaesan National Park, Woljeongsa Temple, and beautiful valleys. The robust and rich forest is filled with a wide variety of animals such as badgers, raccoons, boars, and hares, as well as abundant medicinal herbs, and trees such as huge birch, nut trees and lime trees.

Yuldong Park is a large urban neighborhood park located in the Bundang area of Seongnam. Since its opening in 1999, the park has become a favorite weekend hangout, frequented by residents of Seongnam and Seoul. This well-equipped park has a 45-meter bungee jumping site, a large fountain and a 33-acre reservoir encircled by a 2.5 kilometer promenade/bike path. Other facilities include a 13 meter-high artificial rock climbing wall, badminton center, children’s playground, foot acupressure path, grass plaza, year-round flower garden, field of reeds and theater. The park is also a popular date course for couples at nighttime as there are many quiet cafes located near the reservoir.

Culture Station Seoul 284 opened in 2011 by restoring the old Seoul Station. The complex holds various programs including exhibitions, performances, cultural events and workshops. It holds over 100 years of history with Namdaemun Station being the original name of the station in 1900 and changing to Gyeongseong Station, Seoul Station, and now Culture Station Seoul 284. The look of 1925 Gyeongseong Station offers visitors a flashback to the past, providing a fun and special experience.

This is where Mok-ha (played by Park Eun-bin) waited for Ki-ho (played by Chae Jong-hyeop) with flowers in the TV series "Castaway Diva." As the restored historic Seoul Station, it also appeared in "Reply 1994" as the location where Samcheonpo (played by Kim Sung Kyun) first arrived in Seoul.

Yeongmokhang Harbor is located at the base of a small hill 4 kilometers away from Gonam-myeon, on the southern tip of Anmyeondo Island. The name was originally just Yeonghang Harbor but the name was changed to reflect its important role in connecting the areas of Boryeong and Taean. Across from the harbor are Wonsando, Hyojado, Chuseom, and Bbaeseom islands and ‘Three Brethren Rock.’ On the left are boats for Cheonsuman Bay. Fishing is the main industry in the region, which means that visitors can find plenty of fresh, quality seafood such as manila clams, conches, bass, and other types of seafood at low prices.
