Yongamsa Temple, located in the mid-slope of Jangyongsan Mountain, is a branch of Beopjusa Temple. It was built during the Silla period. Unlike the more common temple arrangements, the stone pagoda in Yongamsa is uniquely situated on a low peak in the north with a view on all sides. The East and West Three-story Stone Pagodas of Yongamsa Temple, a designated Treasure, can be found here, as well as Rock-caved Buddha, and Wooden Seated Amitabha Buddha in Daeseongjeon Hall.

Jangnyeongsan Mountain is a famous mountain in Okcheon, known for its beautiful natural scenery, pine trees, maple trees, and cypress trees that grow wild there. Entering the 3.1-kilometer-long Healing Forest, you can encounter gardens, wooden bridges, and wish rocks. From spring to autumn, there are also various experiences such as a forest commentary program and a forest healing program. Jangnyeongsan Recreational Forest, which surrounds the beautiful mountains of Jangnyeongsan Mountain and the Geumcheon Valley with clear and clean water like a folding screen, is a place with a different charm for each season. Daecheong Dam is a multi-purpose dam consisting of a 72 meter-tall and 495 meter-long concrete gravity dam and rockfill dam. It is located on the Geumgang River where Daejeon and Chungcheongbuk-do meet. There are three additional support dams in the area of the main dam to help control the river's flow. The dam also serves as a power source for the nearby areas of Daejeon and Cheongju. Construction of the dam took nearly six years, started in March 1975 and completed in 1980.
The observatory, located at Palgakjeong Service Area, offers a great view of Daecheongho Lake. A variety of fascinating items are displayed in the Water Culture Center on the left bank of Daecheong Dam. A nearby grassy meadow promises a relaxing and comfortable rest, while local delicacies such as spicy fish stew using freshwater fish and marinated grilled eel are a delight to taste.

Located in the east valley of Gyeryongsan Mountain in Hakbong-ri, Banpo-myeon, Gongju, Donghaksa Temple is the first and the oldest existing academic institute for female monks. Home to about 150 monks who study and practice Buddhism, the temple is the most visited spot on all of Gyerongsan Mountain due to its history, convenient location, and visitor facilities.
The elegant structure of the temple is x_heighted by the majestic view of Munpilbong Peak to its front. In the spring, many visitors come to the temple to see the cherry blossom tunnel, a 3 kilometer pathway from Bakjeongja three-way intersection to Donghaksa Temple. Every year since 1993 the temple has also been the venue of the Donghaksa Spring Flower Festival.

Daecheong Dam Observatory overlooks the clear waters of Daecheongho Lake. Gyeryongsan Ceramics Village is a traditional pottery community formed by potters on the northern slopes of Gyeryongsan Mountain. It is home to the kiln site where Gyeryongsan iron-underglaze buncheong ware, unique to this area, was produced. The village also features a pottery culture center, an exhibition hall, a shop, a workshop, and a gallery café. Visitors can purchase distinctive works created by artists and enjoy hands-on activities like coiling, using a spinning wheel, and painting pottery.

Musangsa Temple is an international Zen Temple exclusively for foreigners. The temple aims at promoting Korean Zen Buddhism among foreign monks and nuns while encouraging non-Buddhist priests and religious leaders to experience Zen. Twice a year (once in the summer and once in the winter) a 3-month program is held for foreign monks and nuns to come and practice Ganhwaseon, a type of Zen Buddhism. Travelers and other foreigners are also welcome to participate in shortened versions of the program, which are typically one week in length. During meditation/program periods, public visits are limited. The temple’s yearly schedule is divided into three sections with the last section providing various events and programs including weekend events and workshops. The temple also offers temple stay and other programs run in both Korean and English.
