The Convention and Exhibition Center (COEX) was established on September 7, 1988 as a large-scale business town for domestic and overseas businessmen. Business operations can be managed easily as assembly halls, exhibition halls, the Korean City Air Terminal, InterContinental Hotel, and Hyundai Department Store are gathered in one spot.

A 57-story building contains 20 trade organizations including the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), as well as 250 companies and financial institutions. Convention and Exhibition, which houses three specialized exhibition halls and permanent exhibition halls, is composed of a four-story main building and three-story extension.

This cafe is on one side of the first floor of the building, and although it is small, with only three or four tables, many regulars visit this place often due to the taste of coffee, baked snacks, and desserts. The signature menu here is the real vanilla bean latte. The unique, savory flavor comes to life thanks to the generous use of vanilla beans. This signature menu is limited and only offered while ingredients last on a daily basis, so visitors are advised to visit early. Baked snacks and desserts that go well with coffee are also available, including financiers, madeleines, churros, and apple pies.

Wondang Horse Ranch became famous as it was used as a drama filming site. It includes some dangerous facilities and therefore certain restrictions apply to the public. Inside the ranch, visitors can watch horses taking a leisure walk on the pasture.

The ranch is a place for training jockeys and horse-related workers, and do not serve as a citizen’s park. Hence, drinking, cooking, making noises, engaging in any forms of sports activity including using balls or installing tents are prohibited in this area. In addition, all visitors must clear and take their leftovers, if any, before leaving.
